Antikvariatet — Restaurant in Trondheim

Antikvariatet is a great bar for drinking all kinds of beverages. It's said to have the best selection of beers in town. They have great food from time to time, the blomkålsuppe was really good. There is always something fun arranged every day, so I recommend to check out their website to see what's up. Service is lovely, they seem to know their costumers fairly well. The layout and look of the bar is very cozy. You can sit outside in the middle of Bakklandet, or enjoy a beer inside. Further inside the bar you have the opportunity to see Nidelven and also Bybroen. The music atmosphere is mostly, but not limited to, jazzy vibes.

By far the best bar/café in Trondheim ! The place is really cosy and looks like an old library. There are a lot of events during the whole week like board game nights or a language Café. Especially the open mic event on Sundays can be recommended. There is live music, everybody can participate and there are usually a lot of talented musicians. The prices are rather high, but there is student discount e.g. on beer. Overall a must go when you want to visit a bar...

Spent most of the evening on the street side listening to some awful playlist and found out couple hours later why it was said to be a music café, the other room and vaar after a long hallway had a lot nicer playlist.
