Food I went for the three-course set menu. The first course was a fish soup. The portion was on the smaller side (since it was a starter), but it had a generous amount of salmon, shrimp, and mussels. It was really tasty!
Next up was the reindeer stew. I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be the main course or just the “next course,” since the portion was about the same size as the starter. I get that reindeer is a pricier ingredient, and the restaurant offers a reasonably priced three-course meal (especially compared to others in town), but does it really need to be the same size as the starter? Don’t get me wrong—it was delicious, but not the best reindeer stew I’ve ever had. The dish came with one potato, which was a very dry.
For dessert, I had the apple cake. It was fine, but nothing to write home about.
Overall, the portions were pretty small for a three-course dinner, so we ended up ordering main course size of a chicken salad (about 250kr) on the side to fill us up. Even though the set menu seems like a good deal, it ended up being a bit pricier than expected.
Atmosphere The atmosphere was cozy and down-to-earth, but it’s interesting—they serve their meals on Royal Copenhagen dishes, which adds an unexpected touch of elegance to the place.
Service The staff were nice and friendly, but it seemed like only one person was handling orders and serving food and drinks, so it could get a little slow at times.
Cost It’s not super cheap. Expect to pay around 650-700 kr per person if you want to leave feeling full...

-The servers are nice and welcoming -Good indoor temp -Cozy place -Food (decent) -Good smells
Cons: -Long waiting time (at least that's what we had), we waited 30-45min for our food -Chair/Bench you are sitting on is just wood and will become uncomfortable after a while -Extremely expensive -Small Tables (at least with our tables) -The entire place is really small, so you are almost constantly sitting next to people (including strangers) -Almost no where close to park the car (not fully the resturant's fault) -Small Menu
Conclusion:
If you ask me, this place is a little overrated, but still pretty alright. It's a good place to hangout with your friends (and maybe a date, all tho i would rather try to find somewhere else first for a date). If you are here for the food, i would recommend it if you don't care too much about the quality, and if you got a lot to spend. But if you are out after the taste and something better for your wallet, i would try to find...
Read moreLike most things here it’s expensive. I did enjoy sitting outside on a beautiful day. The service was friendly. They don’t have a lot of the wines on their menu. My husband really wanted to try some reindeer stew. He’s glad he did, he can check that off. But it was served at room temperature. My Swedish meatball sandwich had 1 meatball in the center of each slice bread. It tasted fine. I liked the pea puree and was grateful for the lingonberry sauce it made the meatballs edible. Someone else would probably enjoy the bread it was too dense and heavy for me. $23 for each item plus $17 for a glass of Riesling. They didn’t have any of the other white options that were $14. But it was fine. I’m not a Riesling person or Chardonnay. Should stick with water. I did see the shrimp sandwich and the ice dessert. Those both looked...
