Veldig koselig. What to say about the experience today. First I sat in the terrace and order some snacks ( green olives) and ginger beer. Came the waitress, who had a perfect knowledge about the meny and suggestions, with water, bread&butter. Starting with the sustainable-whale tataki ( not a bit grilled just on the surface how tataki is supposed to be, was more kind of shashimi ) , topped with a tarragonmayo , pickeld radish and finefine sweetpotato crisps.Delicated. Also a bit of a reduction that right now I don't remember what I thought it was. Only thing I know is I recognized some flavours there. Should ask next time. . I had never tasted the radish like this. 👌 Followed with a fantastic salad . A perfect cooked inside low temp confited chicken, økologisk I guess. Lot of flavor. Bit dry on the surface 👀😁😉. Delicious still. Dressed with a soft feta cheese, pinions and pumpkin seeds roasted and crunchies, a bit caramelized also with the mango vinaigrette ( bit of honey also? Important to mentioned for allergies, could try maple syrup instead?), everything well integrated. Finished with a cortado and the cake of the day which was a...

We stumbled upon this place while sitting in a bar across the street, having some drinks and searching for a spot for dinner.

Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were seated at a window table, which allowed us to take in the views of the city and watch the raindrops shimmer in the sun outside.

The service was impeccable—our waiters were friendly and accommodating. They threw in a joke here and there, which added to the pleasant ambiance of the evening.

The most notable thing about this place was the food. Each dish was not only crafted to perfection but also boasted fresh, flavorful ingredients. I “take my hat off” to the chef! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Every single bite was like a party in my mouth. 😄 The fish was flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the steak was juicy and perfectly rare.

The dessert was like the food of the gods! It melted in my mouth—I had to order a second one just to savor the flavor a little longer.

My photos might not do the dishes justice, but I promise you it’ll be the best dinner...

Obsessed with Kalas & Canasta, it is a restaurant i would visit again and again as well as recommend anyone who is visiting this awesome city. Funky space, warm and interactive server (shout out to Anders, he was wonderful!), stellar food with gorgeous plating. Had a perfectly seasoned amuse bouche of a paprika based fish salad on a whole seed cracker, paired with a light Prosecco. The scallop appetizer was beautifully plated with a lemon creme sauce and pickled ginger, with squid ink honeycomb twilles that gave an umami zing and little crunch throughout! The fish soup was delicate, herby, and light enough to let the fish shine with hints of fennel throughout. The bread served with it had a grain mustard spread, and probably some of the best bread I’ve had in Norway. It was all so good I want to go back while I’m here in Trondheim and try more of this innovative and...
