Fellini Restaurant Svolvær — Restaurant in Vågan

We stopped here on a snowy, dull afternoon after hours of driving from Senja heading to Riene. Svolvær was a perfect town to grab early dinner. Fellini is a good restaurant and it catered to a tired, hungry group with 4 children quickly and efficiently. The large pizzas are truly large - they say it feeds two - essentially 2 adults may be (if that’s all they are ordering) and 1 large pizza can feed 3-4 kids easily. We ordered the greek salad - it was nice and fresh, the chopped chicken kebabs with garlic sauce were enjoyed by all. We also ordered Margarita pizzas and vegetable pizzas and a ryan special (pepperoni - chicken pizza) - they were all very good. The banana split was ordered as dessert and I think wasn’t much of a banana split really - they did add half a banana and a scoop of ice-cream though kids expected a spilt whole banana & several scoops of different ice creams - maybe because that’s what they were used to. Not a complaint - just wanted to mention to level set...

I had the pleasure of visiting "Fellini" and it was a really good experience. For lunch we enjoyed a pizza that exceeded all of our expectations. The dough was perfectly baked and the sauce was incredible.

We decided to return for dinner this time we chose roller kebab, and it was equally impressive, very well seasoned, with spices that stood out without being overpowering. The meat was tender and juicy, accompanied by a sauce that complemented it perfectly.

The price was surprisingly reasonable. For the quality and quantity of food we received, it was worth every penny. Also a cozy atmosphere and friendly service provided by...

Visited this one on my trip to Norway. The place was dead empty on a Friday afternoon.

We were seated by a waiter who literally threw the menus at the table (just like you would read a newspaper and throw it on a table). RUDE!

We ordered the vegetarian pizza, which was below average. Nothing special. No taste.

Upon asking for some chilli flakes, the staff got us a bottle with so little flakes in it that could you do a count.

Ridiculous! We asked if he could get us another one but he said he wasn't sure if they had any.

Overall it was a disaster. No taste, no service.
