René Café — Restaurant in San Felipe

This place is pretty awesome. Tucked next to a little square, the curb appeal is very attractive. There is out door seating and inside there are a half dozen tables and an open kitchen.

The menu is very limited, you are basically ordering a multi course meal and just deciding if you want meat (beef, fish or chicken ) or veggie and if you want a lunch or dinner size portion.

The meal will start with apps and salad, then the main course and includes dessert at the end.

Don't let the menu fool you tho, the food here is outstanding. Let the cook do her job and know that giving up a little control over your meal, in this case, will result in a really fantastic experience.

Your choices will be limited but they will all be amazing choices, so you can't go wrong. I personally haven't had too many meals out that I enjoyed more then the experience of eating at Rene.

I went to this restaurant back in November of 2018 and let me tell you it was the best. Our tour guide Michelle recommended the place to us which was precisely on her birthday the 4th.

This place is great! We chose it randomly but noticed we were there about 15 minutes before they opened. The owner must have seen us because he opened the door and invited us in. We enjoyed an excellent meal which was very reasonably priced. While there we noticed they were preparing for a large group, which we took as a good sign.
