The food was simply awesome, location is only few minutes' walk from the main square and the price was great too! We had some bruscheta to share to start with, followed by personal pizza each and a small jag of sangria. Bruscheta was, kind of a shaving of a pizza bread (as oppose to a slice of bread), brilliantly seasoned and full of flavor. It was big enough for the two of us, but it's so good, I recommend you get one each. They made my half vegetarian for me, as I asked. I was so sad when we finished it :) Personal pizzas were of perfect size and everything you would expect in a proper Italian restaurant. Thin dough, flavours sauce and fresh ingredients. Sangria was brilliantly refreshing, not too sweet, not heavy, just right. The place is relatively small and even on Tuesday evening we had to wait for a table for two, which should tell you how good the food is. I don't know if they accept reservations, but I suggest you try to make one. The interior feels, like it used to be part of a house, now converted into a small restaurant. This, together with great personal service from the staff, adds charm to the whole experience - it's unmissable, if you're in town! More about Arequipa, Peru and South America travel on our...
Read moreThis is one of our favorites pizzeria in Arequipa. We usually order pizza. The pasta is pretty good too. What we think they have for improvement is in the lightning. Since seems like it used to be a house the place is no huge and there is a glass door that goes to the patio that allows the light to come in. The ceiling light are not helpful either, you end up eating in the dark. We don't really mind, but is pretty dark. And the other thing we suggest they need some improvement is in the service. The staff overall is nice, but we noticed one waiter, don't know his name, he is young boy and is skinny and short. He served us the last time. He didn't even welcomed us. He was silent when taking we our order. Is not like we need somebody that yap and yaps, but at least say hello and welcome the guest. He took our order without a single word. Although he brought everything we ordered and if you need anything he will bring it. But 0 words, 0 smile. P.s we...

The service is awful and the food is small and expensive.
I told the waiter 3 times that I cannot eat meat (in Spanish) and that I am a vegetarian. I ordered the bruschetta (which to be fair I did not check was vegetarian as bruschetta is always vegetarian). When he brought it covered in pork I asked him to make it fresh without pork. He picked off the pork and brought it back. Then he said he would bring me something else instead, and added both to the bill.
There was no Wi-Fi and he wouldn’t let me plug my phone in to charge.
The wine was bad and expensive. There are soooo many better places in Arequipa - pick...
