La Petite Francaise — Restaurant in Arequipa

Update: I can't say with 100% certainty that this place got me sick but I started to get symptoms the day after I ate this crepe. To foreigners, heed the warning, do not eat fruits washed by their tap water. I am better now but was sick for about 3 weeks.

Absolutely delicious. I just wish they came on a plate with a fork because it can get a little messy. I ordered the nutella, strawberry, banana for 14soles. There were cheaper ones but I dont get crepes very often so I went all out. They have savory crepes as well. I have a hunch that maybe these strawberries were washed with tap water because I got sick immediately after eating here. I recommend you only order the crepes that come with cooked products or fruits that do not have to be washed....

The seating is kind of weird and a little uncomfortable. We ordered latte and americano and they were good. I got the salted caramel crepe and my husband got a crepe with egg, chicken and mushroom. Unfortunately, they gave him chicken, mushroom and cheese and my husband is allergic to cheese. So, they made him the correct order and gave us the whole amount we paid back. We suggest that they put the Kpop music down to avoid distraction and pay more...

Somebody commented the coffee was good here. What are their standards? I ordered a double espresso and got what I would call an americano. Espresso Is supposed to be so strong that it's bitterness almost hurts and I was dissapointed. The crepe was delicious although it was a bit small (caramel with salted almonds).
