Cute little fusion restaurant in Arequipa that balances Japanese techniques with local ingredients. The trout is notably fresh, and they've created a welcoming atmosphere with nice decor. Friendly staff and relatively quick service add to the positive experience.

Total came to ~22€ (reasonable for the quantity)

My partner and I had a really disappointing meal here. He had the causa rolls, which were unfortunately fairly bland, and I had the ramen. It was probably the worst ramen I have ever had as various aspects of it fell short of what you would expect. Specifically, some of the vegetables were totally uncooked and tasteless, the meat was unusually cut into tiny pieces so you could barely tell it was there and the broth tasted really strongly of celery. I understand that the addition of celery to the broth was because it is Peruvian-Japanese fusion but it was nonetheless a shame as you could barely taste anything else and, honestly, who orders ramen for the taste of stewed celery? We were craving for sushis and we had this place starred for we gave it a go… and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant itself is very cozy; only a few tables plus a few seats on the sofa, which gave it a cozy atmosphere. The welcome that we received was extremely friendly, and our waitress had been brilliant, helpful and very very patient. The food is fantastic and well priced, great quality, so are the drinks (very tasty cocktails). All in all a very pleasant experience, and all thanks to Camelia, our waitress, who has been the best.
