100% 10/10 worry-free experience in CUSCO!
Absolutely wonderful. We were here for four nights (November 2022) and all of our questions/concerns were answered and solved before we even arrived! The staff is helpful and accommodating, speaking with us in English as we do not speak Spanish. Breakfast is provided. Erlinda and staff went above and beyond in assisting us because we had two early morning excursions. First, they communicated with the tour in Spanish and would let us out only when the tour guide has arrived to make sure that we were completely safe and did not have to wait outside for the tour to arrive. Second, knowing that we would be leaving early in the morning, they packed us sandwich bags in advance to us leaving and missing breakfast. HOW THOUGHTFUL! this was not required but they took the initiative to do so. This made a deep impact on our trip and was heartfelt during our trip. The staff is available for anything questions you have during your stay and provided great correspondence even before our arrival and we knew that we picked the right place! The place is clean and organized. It is close to the city center but extremely peaceful and safe. Warari allowed us to leave our luggage with them after check-out when our flight out of Cusco was in the evening. Totally appreciated! Gave us an additional stress-free afternoon to enjoy in Cusco! No complaints at all and everyone in the hotel was willing to help! If I am visiting Cusco (other places too) again, this is certainly something I will remember...

Location v close to Cuzco's main artisan market so great for shopping, 15min walk uphill to Temple of Sun (note since high altitude- that is a V long 15min). Staff friendly and helpful, rooms big with good hot water + water pressure, breakfast decent variety for Peru. Cons: no cups in room for bathroom/room, period (seriously, just stock 4 paper cups from the lobby in each room so we dont have to go down to the lobby at night please), VERY strong smell of insect repellant in rooms (#504, 304 etc etc- the older ladies in my group were a bit dizzy from it and didn't know what to do about it for both days), need more mirror in room plus stronger wifi (literally had to sign on/off 4 times since so unstable- get mesh wifi or more wifi extenders please- its not great to have to go to ground lobby all the time for stable signal). Would consider the hotel again if all fixed but for now would only recommend if you have no other nearby alternative of comparable...
Read moreHad a great experience with Hotel Warari! My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights, one of the days we were waking up super early for a tour and they packed us sandwich bags! It was honestly the best! The rooms are super cozy and honestly you have everything you need. The inside of the hotel looks like a castle and although not your typical modern hotel, it’s still very unique and nice! They had a very light breakfast as I believe there wasn’t many people staying the nights we did. Which was okay bc it was more than enough! They also paid for our airport service which is a great plus!
It’s about a 15 min walk to the main plaza however we found an artesanal market about 4 min away where things were a lot cheaper compared to how they sell in the downtown area. It was overall a great experience and would 100% recommend if you’re looking for an affordable, cozy, quiet, and relaxing place to stay during your...
