This café is just across & down the road from Jack’s. Go up the set of stairs and head straight back towards the open air patio. Eddie serves the best Capuchino & the best breakfast in town with generous portions. For example, their Desayuno American comes with eggs, bread, jam, fresh juice, & coffee for 9 soles, which is about $2.75USD. I would also recommend his spaghetti with Pesto made from scratch. Some people call it „nothing fancy” but i call it the best possible breakfast place!!! Prices are ridiculously cheap! 13 sol (3 euro) for: coffee, fresh juice (everyday different: papaya, organge, pineapple), 2 rolls with butter and jam, omlette with cheese and ham or tamales. Other day in a „normal” restaurant i paid the same only for a juice! All this you can experience in a sunny, picturesque garden with smiling hosts! ¡NO RECOMIENDO ESTE LUGAR ADVERTENCIA IMPORTANTE! Tuve una experiencia sumamente incómoda e inaceptable en esta propiedad reservada a través de Airbnb. Al principio el lugar parecía sencillo y acogedor, y la ubicación se veía bien. Sin embargo, desde nuestra llegada empezaron los problemas: la habitación no tenía papel higiénico y el jabón que dejaron en el baño estaba abierto y usado. Envié un mensaje al anfitrión antes de la 1 p.m. y no obtuve respuesta hasta casi las 6 p.m. Para ese momento ya habíamos salido y comprado lo necesario por nuestra cuenta. Estaba dispuesta a dejarlo pasar, pero lo que ocurrió después fue gravísimo.

Esa misma noche, después de un viaje de casi 24 horas, mi amiga y yo ya estábamos dormidas cuando nos despertaron fuertes golpes en la puerta, y poco después escuchamos unas llaves girando en la cerradura. El anfitrión, JESÚS ÁNGEL, intentaba entrar a la habitación sin autorización alguna. Como mujeres extranjeras, fue una situación aterradora y totalmente inapropiada. Por miedo, atrancamos la puerta con los muebles ante la posibilidad de que intentara volver a entrar.

Reportamos el incidente inmediatamente a Airbnb, quienes actuaron con rapidez, nos reubicaron en otro alojamiento y nos reembolsaron las noches no utilizadas. Afortunadamente intervinieron, porque sinceramente no quiero imaginar qué habría pasado de no ser así.

Para colmo, el anfitrión tuvo la desfachatez de decir que yo era una “aprovechada” y que solo quería un reembolso, cuando fue él quien irrumpió en nuestra habitación en plena noche. Una falta total de profesionalismo, ética y respeto.

POR SU SEGURIDAD, no se hospeden aquí. No vale la pena el riesgo...
