Las Terrazas Iquitos — Restaurant in Iquitos

The menu has American food and not regional. Taste was overall okay and service pretty down. We liked drinking the natural juices though. We were told that the upper floor opens at 11 am because they had to clean it before service. We got there around 9 am. The waiter forgot my mom’s order twice and we waited 25 minutes until somebody brought it to us. We declined it and asked for the receipt. They also forgot to bring simple requests such as ‘ketchup’. The waiters looked lost and unorganized even though they had an iPad with them. However, the manager was really polite and apologized for it and even instructed their waiter whose name will be not mentioned here, to helps us in what we needed at that specific moment. This place was recommended to me by the staff at the hostel that I stayed at. I wanted to check it out and it didn’t disappoint. There is one staff that speaks really good enlightening and he took care of me. He explained to me the menu and also answered all my questions. The first night, I ordered causa and ceviche and the second time I came back I ordered deep fried seafood. The portion is huge. I also ordered a dessert after my dinner and it resulted in me not being able to sleep that night since it was too much. The food is tasty and the staff is really friendly. The place is vibrant and has a good view of the river and also the city. There are swimming pools on the top floor. Good place for dinner and it’s right...

Groundfloor: Such kind service, good wifi, delicious food, a view and wonderful concerts and party atmosphere at night. I really enjoyed it.

Fourth floor: delicious food, I wished there were more local dishes. The waiter are friendly and the music is good, very latino...but one night they suddenly pumped up the music at 8pm so loud it was really harsh. Saturdays there are live concerts and dancing too.
