Pizzería Iquitos — Restaurant in Iquitos

Actually we want to give 0 stars..... The Location looks really good and the stuff ist actually nice. But the Pizza is bad as. The taste is kind ZERO and the price is more then high. A frozen Pizza for the oven is even better. We ordered a Pizza Salami with extra mushrooms, they charged us 11 Soles (!!!!!) for a few Mushrooms, so the price was 53 Soles (!!!!) for just one Pizza, not a really big pizza. The Calzone (4 formage) we ordered came without tomato sauce, thats why we ordered ketchup for a little bit flavor..... what they brought was that tomato sauce, what they put regular on the Pizza (ALSO WITHOUT any FLAVOR!!!!!!!) and they charged us for that little bit of NOTHING 5 Soles.. I couldn't even finish the calzone, because it was so bad. we never payed so much money (especially in southamerica) for Pizza after all for such really...

Upon entering this seemingly quaint pizzeria, we were sadly disappointed with our experience last night. After ordering the 5 cheese pasta, there was a lot of back and forth about what was actually available from the menu. My friend had carbonara in which the eggs were scrambled, she complained and the waitress said that is how the dish should be. I never received my 5 cheese pasta and had to reorder. The waitress didn't tell me my initial pasta dish was not possible until my friend was eating hers so we ate our main meals at different times not together. I reordered spaghetti Bolognese and it was super salt and not tasty. Both our pasta dishes were not enjoyable and the service wasn't great. There was no effort on their part despite complaining to give us a reduction...

Avoid if you are a tourist! I paid using my mastercard however the waitress said it didn’t go through even though it said “Confirmado” in the card machine, I didn’t need to speak Spanish to understand that! She then proceeded to put the payment through again. I noticed once I got internet that I was charged twice as expected, clearly the waitress was trying to steal money and using my lack of Spanish to do so. Its a shame because it seemed like a failing restaurant and stealing only gives bad reviews and is bad...
