I can’t believe I’m saying this because there are soooo many coffee places out here in Lima, but this whole in the wall is by far the best coffee in Lima. And Consistently!!. Yada yada other places are just as good, but you’ll see off days, not here folks…it could be raining cats and dogs outside and this place still delivers. Btw it doesn’t actually rain here in Lima (ever)…And, as they say in Spanish , la guinda del pastel , is everything else …after the coffee. They curate this place with precision and detail, the cookies are not from Wong! They have this oatmeal chocolate chip cookie that uses real ingredients and you can tell albeit something that is so simple, was made with alotta love. The croissant ham sandwich uses very good ham and the cheese is not Krafts singles ..you may laugh but where I’m from you can definitely tell when the owners care about what they are feeding their customers .. anyways … it is soooo light not greasy or heavy at all and the croissant is Francophile noteworthy. Actually all the pastries are noteworthy, simple and delicate … which is hard to do during this Starbucks zeitgeist. So ya much appreciated to the owners of Sol coffee and tea!! ….whomever you...
