Absolute hidden gem. If you are someone like me who doesnt care about eating at fancy upscale restaraunts, wants to eat good food where the locals go, and want to avoid tourist price traps, then this is the place. Waiters dont speak english. Google translate can come in handy. Also recommend you take soles. As other reviews say, their chicken taste amazing. I came here twice and maybe I'll go a third time today before I head to Cusco. Fairly clean restaurant. Even local police there come to eat here. I can see this place will become popular over time and their prices will eventually go high.

Nice place with great value for money lunch menus, we enjoyed a hearty soup, plate of aji de gallina and a drink for just 18 soles each! Loads of locals eat here. Surprisingly, they have wifi so you can ask them for it. Service is quick and friendly. Toilet here was clean.

Eat like locals! The owner is super kind and patient. The way it works here is, they provide a set menu of soup, entree, and tea if you just sit down. If you want something else, ask for the menu for “extras”. It’s a popular spot for locals as well.

Someone commented earlier "it might be the best chicken I've ever eaten". I'm always suspicious of those kind of comments. But, they were right. I'm 66 years old, and I've been all over the planet. One of my biggest regrets in this trip, is to have not found this restaurant sooner. Came late, ask for menu, only the pollo a la brasa was left.
