Visiting Pampanga for an event, we met up with our friends at Mila's Tokwa't Baboy in SM Clark. I’ve been to this restaurant a few times before, but only at their main branch. This location is inside a mall, so the ventilation is better and parking isn’t a problem.
We ordered the following:
Sizzling Sisig (₱320) Fatty, crispy, and chewy. The red onion complemented the pork. There was a subtle hint of calamansi that cut through the fattiness.
Plain Sisig (₱240) / First time having this dish. The ears were tender and fatty. It had a decent kick from the sliced peppers, balanced out by the vinegar.
Tokwa't Baboy (₱320) A crowd favorite. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork had a salty kick from the soy sauce, unlike the vinegar base used in the plain sisig.
BBQ Tocino - 10 sticks (₱330) A personal favorite, this is what I always order from this restaurant chain. The pork was tender and coated in their sweet glaze. The portions could’ve been a bit more generous.
Overall, we had an okay experience at this branch. The food was great, as always. However, the service was just average—our orders came out a bit late compared to others but they also just had one server to deal with all the customers. We also spotted bugs on the table and wall near us. A server noticed and cleaned it up right away.
Verdict: Babalikan pero...
Read moreI rarely eat in one restaurant 2 dinners in a row! More so, if I travel as I want to eat the best the place offers. In the case of a recent trip to Clark, Pampanga, Philippines I gladly allowed myself to be invited to eat in Mila’s Tokwat Baboy for my 2nd night in a row dinner because I liked their food especially the paco salad! The paco salad’s sauce is the best and the freshness of the ingredients made the dish the best I ever tasted. I do not usually eat salted eggs but in Mila’s paco salad it seemed we were bffs.
I also liked their BBQ as one of the most tender, juicy and flavorful I have tasted.
I also discovered that instead of drinking bottled water, it is best to drink coconut water with paco salad and BBQ and other food in the restaurant.
The restaurant is a no fuzz restaurant just like any local grown Filipino restaurant. I was informed they have a restaurant outside of SM City Clark which is very popular also. Their collection of pictures of celebrities and notable personalities as shown in the board outside the restaurant is a testament to their success and delicious food.
The restaurant is definitely worth a try.

Read moreDine elsewhere. Ito yung resto na sobrang tagal ng service, kulang magbigay ng order, at muntik pang matapon sa anak ko yung sizzling plate nila dahil nakabitin lang sa table yung hot plate at iniwan lang nila without securing.
My family and I decided to have a weekend bonding and I treated them for a late Sunday lunch out. Choosing this restaurant ruined our day and we can straight up say that we do not recommend this place and we will never come back. We ordered the usual: sizzling sisig, tokwat baboy, malunggay soup, Leche flan, a pitcher of iced tea and rice.
We waited 15 minutes before they served us the rice and tokwat baboy. The service crew who took our order basically ignored us until the first platter of food they served us has gone cold. We didn't eat because we were waiting for the soup and sisig. They could have at least sent us the iced tea so we could have refreshments while waiting for the rest of our orders.
After patiently waiting for another 30 minutes, we followed up with our order and they gave us a warm iced tea. Obvious na kakagawa lang so kung hindi kami nag follow up hindi nila maaalala. After that they gave us the malunggay soup. After waiting for another 20 minutes we followed up AGAIN for the sisig. At this point nalipasan na kami ng gutom sa sobrang tagal. After more than an hour of waiting the sizzling sisig was finally served at ang nakaka inis iniwan nalang basta ng server sa harap ng anak kong 7 years old at naka bitin pa sa table yung hot plate. Natakot kami kasi bata yun at baka matapon sa kanya yung hot plate. Sizzling plate yun at sunog pa yung sisig sa bottom pagka serve so we know na sobrang init nun.
Upon paying, my husband noticed on the receipt that we were charged for the Leche flan kahit walang na serve. Dun palang nila naalala na kulang yung sinerve nila. Nakakapanghinayang at nakakahiya sa mga kasama ko na mahilig sa kapampangan food dahil palpak ang...
