Altrov'e Express — Restaurant in El Nido

There are two Trattoria Altrov'e branches in El Nido: the restaurant near Corong Corong Beach ("Trattoria Altrov'e Italian Cuisine") and this "express" in Town Proper. The "express" used to just be take-out, however, as of recently, they also have dine-in!

This place has no frills and if you can get in (I would suggest any time after 7:30pm), then do it! They've got pizza and pasta, what more could you ask for?

Everyone in the restaurant ordered their own individual pizzas... this is not a place for individual pizzas, lmao. It's a pretty decently sized pizza, so I would strongly suggest sharing -- worst case scenario, you could always order another pizza! But I saw too many people leaving leftover pizza and while some people did take their leftovers back to their hotels ... it just doesn't hit the same. So definitely order a pie to share! We got the Pizza Bianca and as someone who loves tomato based pizzas, this white pizza was pretty good!! The brick-oven pizza was super flavorful and welcome after a whole day of island hopping!

Apparently they offer a free ride from the "express" to the Trattoria Altrove Italian Cuisine near Corong Corong Beach -- if I had more time in El Nido, I definitely would...

Like many , when in a new area or resort you search for the best restaurants on trip advisor After reading the glowing reports I ended up here last night Beat the queue, which started to form 30 minutes or so after we arrived so at least that remark is true . Best pizza !!! Really. ??

Let’s not be negative, was it awful...no ....but god was it bland , tasteless, ordinary , not a huge about of toppings and cheese , tasted to be honest like a cheap frozen pizza you buy at the supermarket, take it home , cook it in the oven , take a couple of bites then bin the rest thinking why did I buy that , I knew it was going to be rubbish. !!! I guess location helps here immensely and the show ..... the fact you see the guys making the pizzas before you enter the restaurant upstairs.

So would I go again ?...... no definitely not , It wasn’t awful , it was just plain , pretty dire mundane Had a much more fantastic tasting pizza at Bella Vita El Nida Lucky for the Altrove that these guys are on the beach heading way out of the town because if they were opposite them , I know which way the queue would...

I found this place through google maps and noticed they really have a good review on their service and food. It has one of the best views of the beach as its just by the seashore. It's great to see that they make their pizza dough fresh and cooked in a traditional brick oven heated using wood creating such a lovely texture and distinct taste on the pizza. What's disappointing are the flavours, as they aren't what you'll be expecting, its below standard flavors and they dont use good quality ingredients, mostly are canned a processed, frozen etc. Its also misleading to read the intro of their menu because it totally states the opposite. The restaurant is also not as good looking and well maintained, the equipment and utensils are not complete compared to other restaurants that offers food service on...
