Seats aren’t guaranteed if you just walk in, so it’s best to make a reservation at least days in advance. You can SMS or call the number in their Google maps listing. I recommend ordering dishes you don’t normally find in other Japanese restaurants in PH. I loved the Natto Oroshi Soba. They have plenty of onigiri varieties, including pickled plum, sweet seaweed, bonito flakes and salmon. The ambience feels like an authentic izakaya. Overall it was a nice experience except at the time we went, there was a group of rowdy middle aged women who got excited by the baseball game, my eardrums literally hurt and i suffered from temporary deafness from high frequency...

Had a dinner reservation, but did not push through since they were not helpful to locals calling for assistance.

Location is bad, no parking nearby and not ideal to park far and walk to the place since it is not really in a good area.

I called the restaurant to ask them where we can park, the Japanese guy who answered just said “NO PARKING” and dropped my call. That’s it. If that was a show of how they’re going to treat local customers, I’d rather go somewhere else.

Very disappointed since my Japanese friends...

This is a Japanese-style izakaya that’s a favorite among Japanese expats living in Manila — and for good reason. The owner and staff are warm and friendly, creating an atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming and homey. Everything on the menu is delicious, and with such a wide variety of dishes, I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I love this izakaya place!!! The food is really good and the atmosphere is awesome. I went there by myself, so reservation was quite easy. But if you're going as a group, it's best to reserve a week or two prior. I tried the Zarusoba, Liver Yakitori, Butabara Kurokosho and Maguro Sashimi. They were delicious!
