Movida Makati — Restaurant in Makati

Highly recommend the Caipirinha to set off the night out with Movida, situated a stone's throw away from Poblacion and slotting in as one of the hippest and chic spots to hit in the area.

With an assortment of fine dining cuisine from Western to Euro-Asian fusion style menu and an extensive range of cocktail beverages, all competitively priced given the location. The live bands are a welcome component to the modern classic decor with sounds ranging from Latin - Jazz - Blues and Roots - Pop and all things in between, with accomodation for budding artists and musicians and even enthusiasts in the crowd to join in the fun on stage during their last sets later as the evening progresses.

It was an honor, privilege and a pleasure to jam on a track during the soft opening, and even greater to return periodically since and see the development of what will become one of Makati and Metro Manila's premier live music venues.

Very bad experience and terrible service.

We were told they close at 4 AM, but they started billing us at 2 AM. There was no last call for food—when we asked to order more, we were told the kitchen had already closed. This was only at 2 AM, which doesn’t make sense if they truly operate until 4.

The reception staff promised us many things and upsold us on bottles, only to start rushing us out shortly after we were seated. I raised our concerns with the manager, but she showed zero interest—just sat in the corner scrolling on her phone, completely ignoring us.

Absolutely unacceptable service. Do not come here. Total scam.

They even charge us a total of 4x San Mig light even we didn't order. Insisted of voiding the receipt. They insist, there was nothing wrong with our bill....

I really love this place. It’s different from all the other bars in the area in a sense that you get a feeling of prestige and always treated as a vip. It’s a clean bar where you can hang out and meet nice people in a great ambiance. They have really quality food there and awesome live bands. There is always a server that will take care of all your needs. I’ve been there so many times and always leave with a smile. Well...
