edit 08 April 2025: I'm changing my review from a 2 star into a 1 star because they pretended to "acknowledge" and learn more about my experience and when I did exactly as they implored me to do, they respond with the same templated response. DISAPPOINTING.
I dined in today 03 April 2025 from 2:00pm to 2:55pm and unfortunately got utterly disappointed with the quality of service that I have received, compelled strongly enough to write a review immediately after leaving the restaurant.
They were ushering people from outside the cafe so they were supposed to be accepting customers. Apart from myself there were only 2 other people and they seemed to be either content creators or owners as they were attending close to them.
I ordered a chicken meal as their name suggests they specialize in chicken. I was given a 15-20 minute timeline but they served the food after 32 minutes. A person in charge was nice enough to check on me and apologixe without explaining why there was a delay so it was not completely hopeless.
Further context there were at least 8 staff members in the entire place, so if you usher people in, you would be under the impression that there are staff available but apparently it seemed that they were on their lunch time, so why usher people in? I would have understood delays if it was a weekend lunch/dinner, but the circumstances made little to no sense to me.
For the amount of time that it took and its price point, it was meh. Chicken was oily, overcooked on the outside by ok interior. Rice was obviously reheated and was already stiff and in clumps. Pickle's acidity threw the balance off, and the chicken size was very small.
It's clean looking and sleek despite the small space, I'd give them that, but it's all glitz, no glam.
tl;dr, there's better chicken places worth your penny in the metro, but good to try once to see if your experience would...

Samsam chicken has a small, quaint but bright place.. if I'm going to complain something it would be the tables are not big enough to fit the food I ordered... =/
Food is good.. since its a chicken place.. of course we ordered chicken.. we got 4pcs of Honey Butter. They're big chunks of boneless chicken thigh with a hefty amount of pickled vegetables (radish, onion and cucumbers). We also got the Solo garlic pasta and Bulgogi Tapa Bibimbrunch bowl, both of which are yummm. The pasta got so much shirmp and garlic and the tapa has huge serving with a salad on the side.
As for drinks, we got the Yuja Slush.. a perfect drink after walking for hours... think of the korean citron tea... blended..
Service: We got iced water as soon as we sat and was refilled as soon as it was emptied. Food served hot, we did not have to wait long for the...

Was looking for something new to eat, so tried this Korean Cafe x Kitchen right beside Time Zone, Greenbelt 3.
The decor may seem not fit for a Korean resto, so we had to look at the menu, just to be sure, prior entering. Indoor seating is 6-8 tables, 2 of which are high chairs. Outdoor seats about 5 groups.
Food was surprisingly good! Chicken sandwich was juicy and crispy served with chips and dip. Garlic shrimp pasta was filling with lots of shrimp. Noticed lots of oil left when I finished my plate (hopefully it's healthy oil).
Couldn't resist the espresso cheesecake slice, which was really, really good! For drinks got the house blend iced tea. 🍽️
Staff was very alert, friendly and helpful. One even asked how our food was and if we had feedback for improvement. 👌
Some items were pricey, like the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich at Php670. But overall the price points are manageable....
