Sharing my experience at Astoria Greenbelt w/ Room Tour 🏨 #astoria #roomtour

My partner and I stayed here since she's attending a conference nearby. My plan was to stay in and do some work while she's gone. But the place is too small and it feels cramped when you work in their nice room desk for hours, especially since we were placed in a room without windows. Also, the room is surprisingly not that acoustically prepared since we can hear noises clearly (i.e. full normal-decibel conversations) so of course the other room can hear you, too. That's the only disappointing part of this stay (no window and noise) but aside from that, it's a good experience if you don't plan on hanging out inside the room and just use it as a sleeping place (not a staycation). There's a small ref without a freezer so that's a plus (not all hotels have this). There's a 7-11 across it and you can also have the option to order food for delivery (they allow it). Walking distance from the Greenbelt commercial area with restos and cafes to choose from so that's also a plus. The staff is very courteous and helpful so that's definitely a plus. The buffet is not as extensive as the one in Ortigas of course but it's relatively okay and consistent with their brand.

If you looking for convenient place to stay in Makati to access everything around then this is the place you looking for without breaking your bank. Staff are very professional and helpful, despite the fact we came super early than the intend check-in time they are happy to help us unload our luggage so we can go around Makati without our bags. Prior our booking dates they are happy to answer all my querries in timely manner which makes it easy to communicate and provided me the confidence that this place wont disappoint. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean, shower and toilet was also clean and updated to modern touch. FYI: Surounding shops and food facilities in Makati mostly opens late around 10-11am so its great to know if you are early bird you can order to their in house restaurant for room service or have your breakfast in the restuarant downstairs.

We stayed for four nights from February 9 to February 13, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, situated in a central area that allowed for easy access to many attractions and eateries. We were just a short walk from Greenbelt, and having a drug store directly across the street made it easy to pick up any necessities we needed during our stay. The neighbourhood felt safe and welcoming, which added to our comfort.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a better room upon arrival. The room itself was a decent size, providing ample space to relax. One standout feature was the expansive bathroom, which was impressive, although we did notice a lack of storage space for our toiletries and personal items. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we had hoped, which was a minor inconvenience.

The cleanliness of the room was commendable, and we greatly appreciated how our housekeeper kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. The bed was somewhat comfortable, though a little more support would have made it perfect.

One drawback was the noise level in our mezzanine room. We could clearly hear the chatter and laughter of guests dining downstairs and the sounds of jeepneys passing by on the road, which occasionally disrupted our peace. The daily breakfast buffet was included (once), but it wasn't quite to our taste.

Despite these minor issues, the staff were truly the highlight of our experience. They were consistently polite, helpful, and genuinely willing to assist us with anything we needed. The reception area had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, setting a positive tone for our visit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciate the team's efforts, with just a few areas for improvement. Thank you for a...

My spouse and I booked a stay at Astoria Greenbelt from July 21 to 22, 2025, as we had an important business meeting in Makati. We specifically chose this hotel for its location and expected it to offer basic amenities — like a parking area.

But the moment we arrived, we were immediately disappointed. The guard outside asked us if we were there for the buffet or to check in. When we said we were checking in, he told us to park at the Greenbelt mall parking, which is two blocks away — with no guarantee of available slots. Anyone who’s tried parking at a mall in Makati knows how hard that is.

We were shocked to find out that only buffet diners get valet parking, while actual hotel guests have to walk in the heat, carrying their luggage, just to get to the hotel. How is that fair? The guests who pay more — the ones staying overnight — are treated worse than diners?

We requested a refund on the spot because this arrangement was unacceptable — but they refused, even though we hadn't even used the room.

To make things worse, my spouse has a heart condition, and they still expected us to park far away and walk under the sun. The whole point of booking a hotel near our meeting was for convenience and comfort. Instead, it turned into a source of stress and disappointment.

This hotel has no dedicated parking, no valet for guests, and expects you to pay mall parking fees on top of your room rate. And every time you go out, you'll need to walk all the way back to the mall to get your car. Absolutely ridiculous.

If you value your time, your health, or even just basic hotel service standards, do not book this hotel. This experience completely...
