Very spacious, has a good and cool air-conditioning, and a relaxing ambiance. Got free water too. There are long lines here, seems popular.
I came for dessert and tried their New York cheesecake. The cheesecake had a soft enough crust. I like that the cheesecake slice is bigger than usual. I'm told I can have it plain, with strawberry, caramel, or chocolate. I had it with chocolate syrup; the syrup is rich and similar to Hershey's. But the overall taste of the cheesecake mixed with the chocolate liquid syrup felt weird, I couldn't finish the cheesecake. I conclude that perhaps it's best to have the New York cheesecake in its plain style.
I tried looking for electric sockets around the area where we stayed, but there weren't any by the couch side. I think the sockets were limited to the rectangular table, the area near the entrance.
They don't have free wifi though and the restroom needs improvement in the ambiance and cleanliness side, because while the restroom is bearable, it's not in its ideal state.
Since we came in a group of 9, we had to split up to several tables as there's not enough space for a walk-in to accommodate a large group right away.
Overall, it's ok to come here for a chat. The large space feels good in...
Read moreAmong all the Starbucks branches I've visited, the one in Greenbelt stands out—but for all the wrong reasons. For a place that charges almost the same prices as premium restaurants in the area, the environment falls drastically short of expectations. The tables and chairs are some of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat on—clearly designed more for aesthetics than function. Flimsy materials, awkward spacing, and zero ergonomic consideration make it hard to actually relax or work.
What’s worse is the cleanliness—or complete lack of it. The restrooms are poorly maintained, and it’s baffling to think this is the same space where food and drinks are being served. For a global brand known for its standards, this branch is seriously underwhelming.
With the number of high-end cafés and restaurants nearby that offer both comfort and hygiene for the same price, there’s honestly no reason to settle for this. Starbucks Greenbelt could do so much better if it focused less on Instagrammable interiors and more on basic customer experience—like clean facilities and a place where you’d actually want to stay longer than five minutes. Until then, I’ll be skipping...
Read moreWe dropped by to get two tall hot lattes. Both seniors, we presented our IDs and paid. It was unusual for DARSS, the name of the cashier, not to put our names on the cups, but I guessed since he had our senior IDs he wrote it already. We waited in the corner where the orders were being dispensed. A good 15minutes passed, the ones behind me on the line were called and got their orders, but our humble 2cups of takeout coffee was lost in the melee of orders. I finally approached the barista and inquired where our order was. Lo and behold, DARRS never gave our order to the barista. They only made our coffees that moment I said”we are seniors and have been waiting, standing in the corner for quite sometime, hindi naman nakakatuwa that you forgot our orders”. DARRS whispered a sorry I hardly heard. And the supervisor JOSH just gave us a dismissing look.
I am hoping this does not happen again to patrons of Starbucks, especially to seniors who just want to sip and savor their hot lattes. I suggest that management give their staff an intensive training on...
