On a constant quest to find Manila’s best tacos and Taco-Mata definitely ranks high up there! We got to try all their awesome tacos and none of them disappoint — seriously, each one was absolutely delicious! The best sellers are best sellers for a reason: The Harlem Taco was my favourite because it not only offered a huge and juicy bite but had the best balance of flavor and medley of various textures to enjoy. The Soho Taco was my 2nd pick because of the way this played around with different layers: from the crunchy piknik-like potato strings to the perfectly tender steak — just wow. The L.E.S. was another fave because of that distinctly sweet and smoky flavor you get from the charsiu pork combined with crunchy peanuts. The Fulton had fish battered and cooked to perfection. Complemented very well with that tangy sauce and a squeeze of lime. Finally, The Village, though vegan, still gave a wonderful kick of flavor and gusto. A mix of sweet, salty, tangy, and savory — this is something I don’t mind having again. Only thing I would’ve wanted would be the option to dine indoors especially with how hot and humid it is outside, plus the mosquitos that are out to feast on you too (haha). Can’t wait to see what else Taco-Mata has in store for the all the takaw matas out there like me!

Taco-Mata is my go-to comfort food now! My favorite is the Harlem Taco (chicken). It’s honestly the best taco that I’ve ever tasted. I love how it’s deconstructed when you get it for delivery, so nothing is soggy and everything stays fresh. Been able to try it reverse take out (dine in) for the first time recently and loved the vibes of the place! Service was great! They even have an function room-ish area in the restaurant that you can reserve! Has a sofa and a bar too! Wasn’t able to take pictures of it, but it’s perfect for group hangouts! :)

Super love this place! Tried four out of the five taco options that they offer and I was amazed na ibang iba ang flavor profile nila from each other. Top favorite ko ang Harlem! No wonder this is is their bestseller! Perfect medley of ingredients. The texture is superb! Just writing this makes me want one again! Love the Soho taco too! It was the caramelized onions that made this a hit for me. The Fulton and LES were both great. I wouldn't mind ordering them again. Okay last na. Amazing din ang service dito! Will surely come back 💖🥳

The Taco-Mata MNL Team of Arra and Arthur just gives us all a taste of a very Fil-Mex fusion comfort food of New York. The Chicken on the Harlem is like a country-style fried chicken with classic accompaniment of coleslaw, the TM green sauce and Musco-Peanut crunch topping that makes it have that filipino sweet touch to a FIRE taco treat!

That L.E.S. pork belly that splits like tender and marinated pulled pork is sure to be a favorite amongst meat lovers as it never fails to give you that buttery pork meat infused with some cucumber guacamole, that classic slaw and finished with that Musco-Peanut crunch just makes you wanna go twice, thrice and even to a proper fix!

The Fulton is a light, flaky fish slice fried and seasoned in a tasty batter finished off with a slightly tangy, spicy kick of the TM red sauce that's guaranteed to knock off your keto diets.

These Tacos are made with simple ingredients but having the heart is what makes these babies taste consistently G- double O - D...

Here’s the thing, TacoMata created the LES as a simple homage to the various pork bun (bao) places of New York City’s Lower East Side (Bao House and Momofoku, to name a few). What they did not expect to do is giving the pork belly such a deep respect and umph that made their version of this signature New York dish better. The portion size and how delicately they prepared the belly is on point. Making it in a taco form? That’s creativity. The pickled vegetables had enough acid to cut through the richness of the pork. The peanuts, sugar and green sauce gave more depth to the flavor! We were privileged to taste it on our last trip to Manila. Coming back to New York, we had the cravings and visited the bao places that we love. Guess what? We started missing Taco Mata and...
