The Bolthole Bar — Restaurant in Makati

Door ticket 300peso weekdays, 500peso weekends, got one drink included Have to wear shoes, if you wear sandals, they sell socks for 100pe, and the bar not really have dancing floor 😅

Music is nice, mostly 20s and many young locals coming there. Really crowded and the bar quite small with no separate dance floor and table, so easy to mess up when people are drunk.

They have many bouncers and staffs. Funny thing is whenever they do something for you like make you way to Restroom, bring you the drink/food…, they always open their beltbag and staring at you until you give tips. And if a table are 4 people, they even asked all 4 people. Really feel uncomfortable when I invited some friends here.

So if you don’t care about their service this is nice place with good music. But still there are many bar/pub in Burgos with better service and...

our go-to club in pobla! lots of great staff, good crowd, not so expensive drinks, good song choices.

their drinks ranges from 130 pesos to 20,000+

i visit there for like 3x a week so here are my pros and cons.

pros: good crowd (it gets crowded even on weekdays), great staff (friendly people), good food, has 3 floors (sometimes they open only one, depends), aircons are blasting.

cons: repetitive music (songs get replayed for 2 to 3 times, not that bad actually, since the djs are shifting), ur not allowed to switch floors (if ure in 2nd or 3rd floor, ure not allowed to go down to 1st), not really prepared for...

It's my nth time to visit bolthole. It is quite an "okay" bar when you are in poblacion. First visit here (months ago), it was a good party, then we were all asked to exit the bar because several people were missing their phones. So temporarily everyone went out so they can check the pocket of everyone and the premises. Turned out that there was someone who is roaming around getting phones. So lesson learned, always protect your belongings anytime anywhere when partying!

And ofcourse there was also a recent news with the influencer Awra scandal.

Nonetheless, we still came back to check the place. I was surpised that it is jampacked on a week night. They have promos sometimes on the drinks, so grab it. Overall, nice place, too loud but...
