This is a place I have been going to for the past 15 years. Where do I begin?
First off, the ambiance takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Mandaluyong to what I imagine to be a wine cellar in the provinces of Italy. Alcoves, nooks, crannies - all decently lit - provide a different dining experience with each visit. The tables are wood grain meant to resemble a cellar slab and the wood benches give that feel of rustic ardor. Each wall of the alcoves are lined with wine bottles and various food items that you would find in an Italian wine cellar.
Service. What can I say? For the 15 years we have been coming here, the staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - not just on the menu items, but also the decent wine list they have. They are more than happy to suggest a wine that complements your meal but also fits whatever budget you have.
Food. All I can say is that all of the items on the menu are meticulously prepared and carry a taste that matches the abovementioned raves. You can't go wrong here - pick anything and it will turn out great. From appetizers, to their cheese and cold cuts slabs, soups, salads, pastas and main course...everything is great!
I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place most definitely deserves it.
PS. Not too many pictures of the food. I took pictures of the place more so that you will go and see/taste the...
Read moreI booked a table for 2, I was impressed as they sent me a confirmation message after I called. However, upon arriving my name wasn’t in the list and they put us in the table near the cold cuts display next to the small kitchen where the cold cuts board was literally 15 inches on my shoulder and where the staff are passing every minute. Thanks to the manager who took care of us or else they will forget about us again. Upon ordering they serve us the cold cuts that has been sitting there God knows how long as it’s been there since we arrived. They forgot to give us utensils too. :) The food is ok for the price. The wine cellar theme is good but it’s hot inside. The customer service is not that great. Only the manager is the one asking us if someone took our order and if everything is good which I found good. The waiters are passing task :) maybe it was a busy day for them. Upon enjoying our people watch, we paid and they forgot to bring back our credit card too.
Recommendation: Add more staff to avoid burning out the crew to make them productive and serve the customers well.
Fix the aircon and the reservation system. Table next to the cold cut display and small kitchen wasn’t that good experience for customer I recommend to move it a little bit further.
Always bring the utensils first. Enhance the...

The sangria does not have that balanced taste between wine and juice. It just tasted like juice. And its a first for me to see cucumbers on sangria. Carbonara was served cold and it did not taste yummy when cold.
Service: Cheese Buffet event is always special, although if you choose to go for dinner, the cold cuts selection that comes with it is not refilled as frequent as you'd like... The sides to your cheese would be bread, pizza, and pretzels, salad, then a bit of nuts and fruits. And lucky if you get to try the cold cuts. The ala carte food we ordered came out prettly slow, could be miscomm from kitchen to service and the food sat too long at the kitchen pass?
Atmosphere: It has that wine cellar vibe... Brick walls lined with bottles of wine. A mural similar to the Italian art is also inside the private room.
Although the seating can be improved for the cheese buffet event. All those with tickets should be seated with easier access to the buffet table right? But I guess its part of strategy, to seat you at the far back 🤣 November 2018: sharing a photo of the grazing table back then. Original Comments: "Cheese and Wine date with my ate was sooo fun!...
