Shrimp Bucket Rockwell Sheridan — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

As soon as one of their staff saw us, he opened the door to greet us. As we walked in, he asked us if we have a preference of seat and had two menus ready for us. There was only one other family dining in on a weekday afternoon so the place was quiet and serene.

We ordered a pound each of shrimps and mussels with a bowl of rice. The waiter was very attentive to requests and clearing put empty places immediately. Generally, we had a nice good experience at this place, and one we haven’t done since pre-pandemic.

Unfortunately, after we left the place I broke into hives which usually happens to me when the shrimps or mussels are not too fresh anymore. But my husband who ate more than me was...

Had a very sad experience here being a shrimp lover. I ordered a pound of shrimp with chorizo sauce. The shrimp had skin on with the heads and tossed in the sauce, So the shrimp meat itself was offcourse tasteless. Its basic culinary science but still they do it this way. I got fries for my sides and it was unseasoned so ended up tasteless as well. I don't think theres a problem with the food in terms of flavor. The problem is they don't know how to prepare it as shrimp places should be so this is the reason why I walked out of this restaurant...

My boyfriend ordered 1 pound shrimps and 1 pound mussels for me and I had it picked up via Grab Express. I was very excited to get it kasi I've been craving for seafood. Unfortunately, the mussels were very salty. Like it was marinated in salt before cooking. Kahit may rice, hindi ma-neutralize yung saltiness. The shrimps were okay. I usually finish seafood in one sitting pero naumay ako agad sa sobrang alat...
