Wiltlover Cafe — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

My bf and I tried their new branch in Gateway Mall. Paid 450php for two 16oz-drinks because it included “service charge” but the service is subpar. We waited at our table for 10mins and nobody was taking our order, had to check with the counter first before the waitress went to our table. And then waited another 25mins for our drinks to be served. I get that maybe they are understaffed and they have a lot of tables to attend to, but even the table behind us wanted to cancel their ordered food because of waiting (not sure how long they’ve been waiting but they were already there when we arrived). If the customers are going to pay for mandatory service charge, we deserve to have a decent service at least. Waiting for a total of 35mins for just 2 coffee “drinks” and be charged for the service, imho, is not reasonable.

Suggesting to add more staff (I guess). The drinks and ambiance were good tho.

We would love to give it another shot for the food, hope to get a better...

Wiltlover is a very cozy and nice place to get your coffee and just hang out and talk. The ambience is really nice. It has good lighting and is very well air conditioned. Their decor is vibrant and pleasing. I like the swing they placed at the right side of the cafe where people can take pictures and selfies. Their music playlist is also soothing while you sip their coffee. Their coffee selection is also good, although I prefer their non coffee drinks specially their chocolate latte! It's not too sweet and its very creamy! My wife and I enjoy going here since it's just a walking distance from our condo.
