Illusion Pub Grill & Cafe — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

Illusion has a decent ambiance with timely music, though the DJ doesn't hype the crowd. Their food is bland and a bit pricey. Drinks are okay, and the service was great! But our celebration was ruined by this so-called "owner" or "promoter," let's call her Ms. Y.

A minor misunderstanding over a restroom line between Ms. Y and one of our friends was escalated by Ms. Y, who called several POLICEMEN despite the explanation and apology. She seemed to think that calling the police on us because she didn't feel "safe” (most of us are women) was the best way to handle her petty issue. I guess people should not go to clubs/bars if they want to feel "safe", right?

Their bouncer could've handled this type of situation better, it felt like a power trip to prioritize Ms. Y's feelings over high-paying customers. Also, they have a terrible CR situation with only one unisex restroom and none downstairs for the events area.

It's a shame since the music and service were decent, but the management's actions left a bad impression.The REAL owner should re-evaluate their association with Ms. Y, as her actions are likely to damage their reputation and drive customers away. They should also consider investing in conflict resolution training for their staff. I would NOT recommend this bar to anyone looking to celebrate events or have a fun and welcoming night...

Honest review ✍️ Went back to my favorite bar again in Mandaluyong! It’s more than just a bar because it also has grill plus cafe. Got a welcome drinks, nachos,truffle pasta, and their all day breakfast Tapsilog was so good. Level up ang tapa. Then for drinks I had signature cocktails bear with me and classic cocktails Amaretto Sour! They also have party halls and VIP rooms with KTV🎤🎶 if you have parties or events. Check out for more exciting deals at their social media accounts. Ganda ng service. Bait ng staffs at ng barista. Very Instagrammable ng place at affordable ng prices. Generous din ang servings. Honest review 📝 My foodie friends from AileenLFoodieEventBuddies and I went to this newly opened chill spot in Madison Square Mandaluyong. We loved the place 😍. It’s IG worthy📷 and very cozy. We tried their food like Illusion platter, Sisig, pizza , chicken wings, and welcoming drinks 🥃. They have a great music 🎶 too! The place was very spacious and most of all it’s nice to hangout with your friends! We had fun....
