On May 15, 2025, around 3 PM, I experienced one of the most humiliating and disrespectful situations I’ve ever faced—inside a KFC bathroom at the Pioneer branch in Mandaluyong.
While I was using the restroom, two young children repeatedly watched me through the stall door gaps. I was exposed and mocked—they even laughed and said “yung pwet” out loud. It was disturbing, disgusting, and incredibly violating.
I reported it immediately to the manager, expecting them to handle the situation seriously. Instead, I was told they’d “take note” and that “they’re just kids.” No one talked to the parents. No apology. No consequences. No protection for me.
Let me be very clear: It doesn’t matter how old those children were—my right to privacy was completely violated. Bathrooms should be a safe, private space for everyone. What’s the point of locks and stall doors if people—especially children left unsupervised—can just peek and mock others while management stands by doing nothing?
In the United States, where my family has experience, this kind of incident would never be brushed off. The company would be expected to take immediate action and do something to make it right—not just with words, but with a meaningful gesture, apology, or compensation.
To KFC Philippines: You need to understand how serious this was and respond accordingly. I’m calling on your team to: • Publicly acknowledge the incident • Address the lack of staff response • Take action to improve bathroom privacy • Offer a real gesture to make things right
If nothing is done, I will continue to speak out—because what happened to me should not happen to anyone else, and being dismissed like this only adds...
Read moreWe decided to eat in kfc pioneer because other restaurants are full. But that is a mistake. Kfc pioneer is empty for a lot of reasons. First, the restaurant is very hot. Eating lunch here is literally hell because it seems they are saving electricity. They have an aircon but is either broken or turned off. Another reason is some stuff is missing, like napkins and the iced tea sweetener. Also, the chicken parts is so small, i asked to replaced my chicken with breast or thigh part but still very small. Lastly, no one cleans the tables except the delivery guy who is always just in a corner in his phone and waiting for...
Read moreWorst KFC branch for me. Even though there only few customers, there's a line because there is only one cashier. It's dimly lit, and the staff allow beggars inside to beg for food while you are eating. I also saw some dirty spoons. The gravy station is broken for more than a year now but the still haven't fixed it. The chicken also tastes old. Overall, you'll get the impression that the place is poorly managed. If you are in the area and you have a car, I suggest going to other KFC branches. There is one in Robinsons Pioneer and another one in Shaw Boulevard in Oranbo, near the old Pasig Capitol, now...
