We went to this store right after mass for brunch. Relatively new, i suppose... there are few parking slots along UN... good thing there was one that was vacant. Mr Guard helped us back into the slot. I was told that you can park along Maria Orosa (side of the store, local govt parking slot with pay) or parking in front of the adjacent store is allowed (same owner)
Upon entering the store, you'd find yourself in the take-out counter area with all the cake displays... dining area is at the back... not too visible from the front of the store. The area can cater to 35 to 40 pax easy on the first floor, and there is a secord floor still (as indicated on a signage), opened for dining overflow or events, can fit 100 pax. The side door is closed for security purposes but is opened when functions are hosted.
Bossa was playing on the PA... a good complement to the relaxed vibe of the place
We were seated right away... and handed the menu by MR Carl. We were given time to read through the menu... asked of our preference for the service water... nice!
I had the Really Meaty Plate (had to buy coffee separately) and my partner had the Baked Salmon. Wanted the mango tart (which i was able to taste recently) but this was not available by the slice. Had the Turtle pie instead. Also wanted to try the Creamy Tomato Soup... not available though. All these were served within 15 minutes, as promised.
Food is always good at Conti's... and today was no exception.
Overall... todays dining experience was superb! I would always support this brand... This store, yes to that too... more spacy compared to the stores...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were starving while waiting for our NBI Clearance to be released and Contiās turned out to be the perfect spotājust a short walk from the NBI compound. Honestly, I was already running low on sugar, and this place saved me.
We ordered quite a lot, and everything was satisfying: ⢠The seafood pasta was rich, garlicky, and loaded with shrimp and clams, perfectly paired with toasted bread and a squeeze of lemon. ⢠The beef salpicao with rice was tender, flavorful, and complemented by simple buttered veggies. ⢠The Caesar salad was fresh and filling, a nice balance to the heavier dishes. ⢠The macaroni salad and creamy soup gave that comforting, homey touch Contiās is known for.
The serving sizes were generous, the presentation was neat, and service was smooth despite the lunch crowd. The interiors are bright and cozy, perfect for cooling down after the heat and stress outside.
š Special shoutout to our servers Lucio, Sherwin, and their supervisor Marky for being attentive, friendly, and making our dining experience even better.
If youāre around the UN Avenue / NBI area and need a decent, reliable place to recharge, Contiās is definitely one of the best choices within...
