Walking into some restaurants is like entering a deep fryer – you can practically taste the grease in the air. But not this place! Nope, it smelled like...well, deliciousness. Which is a HUGE plus, because I'm not looking to leave smelling like a side of fries.
The staff? Super attentive. I swear, they anticipated my every need before I even knew it myself. It's like they're mind readers, but in a good way, not the creepy "I know what you're thinking" way.
I like the acoustics of the place, you can hear your dining companion without having to shout over the din of other conversations bouncing around like a rogue ping pong ball.
Now, about the ramen. I grew up in Iloilo, born and bred, so my batchoy standards are HIGH. We're talking gold-medal, Olympic-level batchoy. And Ippudo ramen? It's right up there, folks. Seriously. It's like they took my grandma's secret recipe and gave it a delicious, Japanese twist.
My wife, however, had a slight mishap. Let's just say a bottle of sesame seeds met its tragic, ramen-ruining demise. It was a sesame seed massacre. But fear not! The amazing Kler (give that woman a raise!) swooped in and replaced the entire bowl faster than you can say "sesame street." No fuss, no drama, just pure, unadulterated awesome service.
And the presentation? Forget about it! This isn't just food, it's edible art. I almost felt bad eating it...almost. Because it was too darn delicious to resist.
This resto is five stars for me....
Read moreSpt 24,2025 first meal since I landed in Manila, did a lot of search for good Raman shop. Ratings were good, so decided to try. Again, can't trust the ratings. It was lunch hour at that time ,not much ppl, about half occupied. Ordered Yokohama shoyu ramen with egg ,medium noodle. On the side gyoza, and watermelon shake. Ramen was little off, not hot, noodle was to the hard side, slice pork had too much of pork smell, 2 seaweed was all soggy not dry. And one of the slice egg york was dark not yellow. The soup was pretty much to the donkosu soup, I thought it would be more to shoyu base soup a like Tokyo style. And gyoza was soggy too. It should be crispy on the bottom, but not at all. The stuffing in the gyoza was not bad at all, much better than the one I ate at Ho Chi Min city. The shake was way too sweet for me. Too much sugar in it. I wonder why they don't have shichimi pepper powder on the table and the syoi sauce. I rather make my own dipping sauce for gyoza. Bill came out little over 1000peso gave 1200and left. Oh last thing it took almost half an hour for my noodle, that's way too long , only thing they have to cook was the noodle, the soup and pork are all ready made. Well, I need to keep on searching for good old...
Read moreIppudo has always been one of my favorite ramen houses in the Philippines, and the branch at Robinsons Place Manila continues to deliver an exceptional experience. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by the cozy, modern ambiance, which always sets the right tone for a satisfying meal.
The ramen here is consistently top-notch. The rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender toppings always come together in the most delicious way. I highly recommend the Akamaru Tamago (Extra Hot, Extra Spicy, & Medium Noodles), which is my personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of their signature bowls. Pair it with Hakata Style Gyoza.
What I particularly love about this branch is the friendly and efficient service. The staff are always welcoming and make sure you have everything you need. Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or a first-timer, you'll feel right at home.
If you're in the area and craving authentic, high-quality ramen, Ippudo at Robinsons Place Manila is definitely the place to go. Highly...
