Perfect for cold, rainy weather. My friend and I just love their beef wonton noodle soup paired with steamed dumplings in black vinegar and chopped garlic. Dumplings are served 8 or 15 pieces-steamed or fried, whichever suits your tummy’s fancy. Chives, chili sauce and other condiments are sitting on the table, free to add on to our food. One bowl is good for sharing but if you have a hearty appetite and a foodie companion, you’ll be able to finish up before you know it.

Service crews are jolly and eager to provide good service even before we stepped in as they cheerfully greet passersby and invite them to their restaurant. Good service continues as we gave our orders til we left the restaurant. Our server passed our table and asked if we wanted additional soup for our noodles-no extra charge. So we took on the generous offer! Tables were quickly filling up when we dined. It was a weekday, shortly past 11:00AM. Servers were quick to their feet and orders came quite fast, too.

The place was packed at the time and everyone appeared to be enjoying their meal.

Ordered the spicy beef wanton, the regular beef wanton, fried and steamed dumplings, fried mantho and the beef cha la mien. The spicy and regular beef wanton tasted good and the servings were huge but I gotta say that the star of the dish was the fresh hand pulled noodles.

The broth was rich and meaty, the toppings added a lot of flavor to the dish but somehow I just cant keep my mind off of the noodles. I usually focus on the broth and the meat when eating noodles with soup but this place is different.

The dumplings were also exquisite and dipping them in black vinegar made them even more of a delight.

The fried mantho came in piping hot with a creamy dip that tasted like condensed milk. They were good but nothing really special.

The beef cha la mien was alright and like the soup based noodle dishes the noodles were also the highlight of the dish.

Highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back again for the dumplings and...

I recently dined (August 7, 2025) at LanZhou LaMien, and as expected, the food was excellent-flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every bite reminded me why this place is a go-to for authentic La Mien and other Chinese specialties. But what really stood out for me this time wasn't just the food - it was the customer experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm (special mentioned to the waitress), attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They anticipated my needs without being intrusive, checked in at the right moments, and made sure everything was served promptly and just right. It's rare to find a place where great food and great service go hand in hand, but LanZhou LaMien nails it perfectly. You don't just leave with a full stomach - you leave feeling valued as a customer. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates delicious food paired with excellent...

I had Knife noodles instead of La Mien on my Spicy Beef. It had several small beef chunks the rest were shreds mixed in the broth. I was disappointed with the dish, the Knife noodles were ok but overall the dish didn't meet my expectations. I also ordered their jumbo bola bola siopao. I didn't like the filling coz it didn't have the texture I'm used to in bola bola siopao which has a slight bounce to it. Their filling was mushy and didn't have much by way of taste, I should have ordered kasado instead. My overall experience was a letdown. Will come back to try their other noodle dishes, they may be better than what I initially had.
