A Korean Restaurant in front of Robinson's Manila in Adriatico Street. Although signage is posted they are 24 hours open but in actuality, they are only open for lunch and dinner. There is an adequate safe distance between tables and the place looks clean when we arrived just in time for their lunch opening. The menu is not big, mostly beef and pork for bbq but I guess reasonably priced. My companion ordered for Woo Samgeop but was informed that minimum order is 2. Since I am lacto-vegetarian, all I was able to order and munch on was the Mul Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles in miso with pickled cabbage and cucumber), steamed egg (which came with the Woo Samgyeop; PHP 100 if ordered as a la carte), and side dishes (kimchi, pickled radish, sweet potato). No dessert. For payment, they only accept cash and GCash. Add: next to the restaurant is another outlet that offers unlimited bbq and on the second floor is a Korean cafe.

Makchang With the restaurant name as our guide, we just had to try their Makchang. It is exotic since this meat part is rectum, which was mostly chewy, then crunchy outside from the grilling. We liked it enough to have a second round so if you're adventurous, I'd recommend this. Beef Galbi Among the meats we ordered, this is my favorite for its softness and sweetness. This ran out pretty fast! Samgyeopsal It's our all-time favorite everytime we go for Korean grills. Theirs was memorable for being crunchy, similar to chicharon or fried pork skins but cut very thin. Service It was pretty good but a bit of extra effort was needed to call servers' attention. There were times where everyone was in the kitchen or elsewhere. Ambience They have many tables. Place looks more casual than classy and it's pretty cozy. Upon entry, you'll smell barbecue. Upon leaving, you'll definitely smell like barbecue!

Decided to try it out since it keeps popping out on FB IG. Placed a COD order with subtotal 1380p plus shipping 115p, with total coming up to 1495p. Staff called and suggested me topay upfront, saying it would be more convenient for them. Strange that they let customers choose COD but do a follow up on upfront payment. Details came in thru text and I was requested to pay 1545p instead of 1495. Staff said the bill I received in email hadn't included shipping charges or those who are not paying this extra 50p will have to book their own delivery service or something... Didn't make any sense to me. In the end had to take another call, listening to the staff's reasoning of the extra charges before I decided never to try this restaurant.

I WILL NEVER COME THIS PLACE AGAIN. THE ENVIRONMENT WAS NOISY. THE WORKERS ARE BASICALLY THROWING THE PLATES AND BOWLS LIKE A FISH MARKET. CREATING UNWANTED NOISES. LIMITED SIDE DISHES, JUST KIMCHI, SOUP, SCALLION AND AT VERY LAST MINUTE WE GOT THE STEAMED EGG. UNLIKE OTHER PLACES THE PROVIDE PEANUTES, BIRDS EGG, PASTA, SWEET POTATO, SOUP ETC. NO SPOON PROVIDED WE HAD TO ASK FOR IT. I SAW THE OTHER TABLE ALSO NOT PROVIDED SPOON, SOME THAT CAME EARLIER THEY HAD SPOON. WE WERE STILL EATING YET THE WORKER REMOVED OUR EXHAUST COVER TO ACCOMODATE NEW CUSTOMER WITHOUT POLITELY INFORM US. THEREAFTER WHEN WE FINISHED OUR MEAL, THE WORKERS ASK IF CAN REMOVE THE CHARCOAL AND WE SAID YES. BUT THEY NEVER INTEND TO REMOVE IT UNTIL WE LEFT! THE WAY THEY GRILL THE FOOD WAS INCONSISTENT. AFTER PAID THE BILLS I INFORMED ONE OF THE WORKER THE SERVICE WAS POOR AND WE CONSIDER NOT TO COME AGAIN. AND HIS RESPONSE WAS...
