McCafe UN Avenue is a sprawling 0arty place perfect for group bookings with function rooms and such amenities with an airy, spacious, even corporate vibe here and there.
This branch is state of the art with a giant touch screen digital ordering machine right after the guard opens the door, by the entrance, before one even queues up to the minimalist counters.
The guard is extra helpful ordering for you, explaining and demonstrating how the machine works, explaining menu items and combinations, among others.
Queue is of course cut short since one just pays at the counter and waits at your choice seat until one's order number to be called.
Evuerhing seems too good to be true until we ordered soda without ice and what we got was a glass of soda half or three-fourths full with the remaining space strictly allotted for several pieces of ice.
Extra rice is also pricey as expected, but what's most shocking for the chicken meals is the tiny drop, a measly dollop, of gravy for your meal!
As my friend who works at Hi-Precision Diagnostics commented, their urine sample container is even bigger.
Which is correct, thought kot entirely sure if you can go back to the counter for unli gravy refills using your itsy bitsy cheap plastic container.
Also, the cheap plastic fork broke even before it pemetraged the chicken's toasted skin.
Interstingly though, the guard is himself guarded by a calico cat who would sprightly enter with coming diners and would be led out by the guard outside the manicured front lawn. Clean and bight space, there the cat would wait to enter with the...
Read moreMcDonald’s at UN - Del Pilar is a nice, big, and spacious branch that offers plenty of room whether you’re dining alone, with friends, or with family. The seating is generous and spread out enough to avoid feeling cramped, which is always a plus, especially during busy hours.
When it comes to the food, it’s exactly what you’d expect from McDonald’s. The chicken is crispy and the Matcha McFlurry is a fun twist for dessert lovers. Everything tastes good, not impeccable or gourmet but reliably filling, which is what you come to McDonald’s for in the first place.
However, the experience here is let down by the service and upkeep of the dining area. Many of the tables are left dirty and unkept for too long, which makes it hard to find a clean spot to sit, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the wait time for orders can be noticeably long, even when the store isn’t that crowded. It feels like these issues stem from a management problem rather than the staff themselves.
Despite these shortcomings, it’s worth mentioning that the staff are nice and friendly, always greeting customers warmly and doing their best under what seems to be challenging circumstances. It’s clear that they care, but they need more support and better systems in place. Hopefully, the management addresses these issues soon because this branch has a lot of potential to be a consistently great...
Read moreOur experience with one specific person really affected the entire experience here.
We held our son's 1st birthday here last May12. The host was actually superb, but it didn't changed the fact that their manager is unprofessional.
May 4 we went there to confirm our food package. So when we got there around 10am, we went straight to the counter to ask who can we talk to regarding the party, and we heard they are calling their manager which is at the kitchen. We actually can hear them, and the manager was saying "sabihin nyo wala ako". For me it was so unprofessional to say something like that. The cashier then just told us to sit and wait first. We waited for 1 hour, following up every now and then, to the guard and to the cashier. Then after an hour, another staff just talked to us for the confirmation, and it just took around 10mins to finalize. That's why I wondered why they didn't just talked to us right away since it will take a few minutes only. It felt like, you don't take care of your customers anymore since your company is already established. Well, good luck.
I know you don't need to promote your party event anymore, since many are already considering to do the party at your place.
But I will definitely NOT do any party at MCdo anymore. My friend even said that "sa iba tayo magparty tapos palipatin na lang natin...
