Nono's Festival Mall — Restaurant in Muntinlupa

The overall experience was good. This is my second time in this branch, but the second time was not so good. I have to mention we arrived late for lunch but maybe it’s the flow of the customers that’s why the staff that time were too busy.

Food was great. I love the chicken honey salad. Chicken (fried) is big pala so you can order small plate (1pc) na lang which is good for two people. Comment on the chicken though, it’s too crispy too the point that it’s hard to bite. It comes with corn on the cob, bread and rice.

The sisig is not too hot when served. Nothing fancy. It’s served with rice.

The mom’s spaghetti is great. It comes with 2 slices of garlic bread.

The four cheese pizza is highly recommended. Soft bread and sumptuous cheese combination.

We also ordered beef tapa. It was a big serving with rice. Was not able to take a photo of it though.

Place is in the mall so there’s lots of parking slots. However, I don’t like their basement parking. If you have a high car please don’t go down the basement to park. Our Ford Ranger antenna got hit by that metal tube hanging at the top of the passage going down. Good that it didn’t damage the paint of the car and the antenna was strongly built.

Place is kid-friendly. They have an al fresco dining and they have a washroom/powder...

On November 18, 2024, I placed an advance order for a whole honey crunch cake, scheduled for pick-up on December 1, 2024, which is today. However, upon my arrival today, I was informed that my order was unavailable. I initially visited the establishment earlier this afternoon to notify the staff that I would return shortly after purchasing items at the mall, which she confirmed was fine.

Upon my return to Nono’s Restaurant, I presented my receipt to a staff member dressed in white. She subsequently passed my receipt to another colleague, also attired in white, who then transferred it to a supervisor named Kaye. Ms. Kaye informed me that the cake was not available due to a miscommunication among the staff members regarding my order.

It is concerning that I took the initiative to place my order in advance to avoid any potential inconvenience. Ms. Kaye offered to arrange for delivery of the cake this evening using Lalamove; however, they incorrectly pinned the wrong address for the delivery. I sincerely hope that the cake will arrive in good condition, as I am still awaiting the Lalamove delivery right now and it’s past 10 pm.

I ordered their salmon, parmesan crusted sole with aglio olio, pork chop, roast beef and their chocolate cake.

For the price. The food is what you expected. Never blew me away or anything.

I understand it was dinner time so when I ordered another cup of rice it took a while. It's already in the service counter but the staff didn't notice it for a good 6 minutes so I just went there and ask if I can get it for myself.

Salmon ⭐⭐ it was fatty and delicious. Lacks S&P. Skin not crusted. Miso sauce. Meh

Parmesan Crusted Sole ⭐⭐ Didn't taste like parmesan lacks seasoning it. Aglio olio is uninspired. Lacks parmesan.

PorkChop ⭐⭐⭐⭐ this was better among the bunch. Thick. Thoroughly cooked.

Roasted Beef ⭐⭐⭐ it's roasted beef but I could have added balsamic glazed. Gravy could be better.

Chocolate Cake ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like that it's not sweet and it's chocolatey. Generous amount of Cocoa Powder. LOL

I expected too much probably. But it a quaint Italian restaurant and coffeeshop in Liliw (Hi Arabela!) Is much better. I think it's fair to compare the two??
