Small hole in the wall Vietnamese resto in Alabang. Food is good, tastes authentic, and priced okay but a lot of items were unavailable when we arrived before dinner. Service, however, was really disappointing. We got in the restaurant at 5:30 but we only got to order after an hr despite being seated for 30mins already. Expect a long wait. The Vietnamese owner was alone in the kitchen. The ate server seems very confused and were mixing up orders. We also noticed they were preparing food for deliveries leaving the dine in customers waiting longer. We didnt mind this but they seem to be prioritizing this vs the waiting customers. Atmosphere's okay, was not expecting much but the ac's not working and we were sweating inside despite it being a rainy day. For now, I will just order for delivery until service improves. For payment, they only accept cash/ Gcash.

Beef Rice Noodle(Beef Pho) was just as delicious as the one I had in Vietnam. It was amazing how, despite not being Vietnamese, they were able to achieve such a level of flavor with so much practice. The bun cha served was different from the authentic Vietnamese version. I think it should be called bibim guksu. Nevertheless, the bibim guksu was delicious, with a sweet and sour flavor. Authentic bun cha is made by mincing meat into 3-5cm rounds and grilling it over charcoal. Bun cha consists of rice noodles in a sweet broth, topped with grilled charcoal-grilled beef, like a garnish. The food we ordered was served quickly, and the Vietnamese-style milk coffee was delicious, rich and sweet.

The food prep is supervised by a Vietnamese that creates a vibe that this is an authentic Vietnamese pho place. However, the pho itself lacks some basic ingredients like basil, sriracha and pho sauce that is usually served on the side together with mung bean sprouts. Overall, food is OK, nothing too special. Or I would say, below average if you are looking for those usual condiments. But the Pinoy servers are very accommodating and friendly. Atmosphere is humble. My friend who recommended the place to me said it could get busy at lunch times. The resto in itself is small.

I only tried the Pho but the broth was light but flavourful noodles were perfect no complaints I thought the lettuce was too crunchy initially but they grew on me perhaps growing softer as it cooked.

The sauce was not that good and I feel it did not add much to the dish.

I couldn't taste the calamansi so nothing to comment on that.

I had one thicker meat cut that I felt was too rubbery and chewy and required me to bite and chew on it and probably needed to cook longer but the rest of the cuts were good.

The meatballs were a bit too hard for me but it wasn't rubbery or chewy just requiring more force to get through and I prefer more softer meatballs.

Overall the Pho was quite good it felt very filling and good for the price. I can forgive some of the mistakes since the restaurant was full and it was at the end of service time. In comparison to the nearby restaurant in Festival Pho Hoa I feel the broth is completely different styles and the meatball was better in Pho Hua and I will be honest that I do miss the basil but Pho 90's cuts were overall better.

Service was fast considering the restaurant was full so no complaints.

Atmosphere is not great to say the least I do not mind sweating unlike some Filipinos but there was only one fan (iirc) and no air conditioning so if you order the Pho or any hot dish be aware of this because you will sweat.

Outside of the that it was a nice small restaurant with I think 4 tables and it was very cutesy and noise wasn't loud at all.

Overall I recommend going to this restaurant and I do plan on going again to try their Banh Mi...

We loved all the food we ordered. Beef phoa, fresh sprill rolls and vietnamese ice coffee.. My sister and I shared them but we were full after. It’s my sister’s first time to eat Vietnamese food and she liked it a lot. It tasted good and felt really healthy because of all the veggies. Our top pick is the fresh spring rolls with dipping sauce. The phoa’s soup has a clean flavor, very distinct not oily, not too salty though the beef were bland. I think it was boiled multiple times it has lost its taste or it was not seasoned enough ? Idk. But it was good and refreshing overall.. The price was reasonable. Their Vietnamese coffee I would say is the best viet coffee I’ve had in the area. It’s sooo good and unforgettable for only 100php!! It has strong coffee taste just how I like my coffee 💕 The place is clean. It looks like a quaint eatery but the food they serve is top notch. I would definitely come back to order...
