The fam was looking for someplace to eat and we decided on the bistro group since they had this promo of 375 pesos for a meal. We went with TGI Fridays since we weren't craving asian or Italian.
With the 375 meal, you can choose an appetizer and then the main dish with drinks. For appetizers, we ordered their salad, chips with truffle sauce, and mac and cheese balls. For the mains, we got 6 spice chicken, fish and chips, and grilled pork chop.
Before we even got our food, we were provided with an appetizer which was taco chips and some salsa. They gave us two trays which was generous.
We got our appetizers next. Out of the three appetizers we ordered, the mac and cheese balls was the appetizer that you had to pay extra. And the quality shows. The mac and cheese was very generous. It was 4 big balls, that were breaded and deep fried. The insides were gooey with mozzarella cheese which was really nice. The other two appetizers that you didn't have to pay extra were pretty plain. They were plain potato chips with an amazing dip. While the salad was just lettuce, mayo and croquettes. They were good but not amazing.
We got the mains next. The 6 spice chicken consists of sunny side egg over garlic rice, breaded chicken, gravy, veggies. This is really good and quite generous. My only complaint is that i wish the chicken was a bit bigger or maybe thicker. But i loved the seasoning and it was crispy.
My wife got the fish and chips. This had big pieces of flour dipped fish over fries and some rice. The fish was piping hot and soft. The fries were plain and not that crispy, though.
I only got a bite of the porkchop, and it wasnt that good honestly. Slightly tough and dry. The charred flavor was the only thing that saved it. But i cant give an honest review of that dish since it was just a bite.
For atmosphere, it was total chaos. There was a birthday celebration for some kids. Honestly, i didn't mind. It was nice to see their happy faces while they enjoyed their food while we enjoyed ours.
Service was fast and complete. Cant say they were easy to call due to the amount of people that day, but they made sure all our food was there to the point we didn't have to call them. Pretty good experience with this branch compared to other branches...
Read moreLoud music makes it difficult to chat with family & friends. How can you enjoy a family diner on a crowded Saturday night and defending sounds. Unless they consider this a disco pub, we have to ask them to lower the volume down. The whole back ribs which was the expensive item on our order was dry, taste bland and not tender. Avoid ordering this at all cost. We should have checked the review first, as its true it was a waste of 2K plus for that one alone. The filipino pork liempo was good though. It was the promo of P375 set with 1 appetizer and a main course plus a glass of iced tea. The receptionist told us its not exactly P375 because an additional tax plus service charge be added on the bill. Again, a needed training for that staff. Do not underestimate your customer. We do not really care for the addon charges as long as it taste good. Take note of that back ribs that easily qualifies as dog food and its 5X more expensive than your promo set. Almost all staff are friendly and jolly, but they were not attentive. Food arrives installment, only 3 appetizers for the 4 set meal arrives and problem arise when the staff spread it equally along the extended table. That wasn’t supposed to be shared, so when the kids asked for their truffles, it was already being consumed by all in the group hungry and waiting for their own orders. That was really stupid. server didn’t even asked who the appetizers belongs to. We have to ask the missing onion ring appetizer, yet she argued only 3 were listed. Told her to count set meal order and it was 4! I was already losing it, was frustrating and disorganized. They need to assign a dedicated staff to a table and focus on it to avoid confusion. Once they served all your food, they leave you with complete abandon until its time to get the bill. No body’s paying attention if you need a drink refill or additional dips. We dined on a saturday night and it’s understandable its quite busy but they seem not up to the tasks. I remember Friday’s ATC branch with big portions and efficient servings. I guess there’s so much room for improvement especially training their staffs. Give them all a chance and check it...
Read moreI've had the worst service from your Festival Mall branch. Very bad service at TGI Friday's Festival Mall branch a few minutes ago. We had lunch there a at 12noon today. The waitress KATE told us that our orders will be served in 25-30 minutes. My husband's and PWD son's orders were served and they've finished eating, but I was still waiting patiently for my clubhouse chicken sandwich to be served. At 1:00pm, we asked for our bill and told them to cancel my sandwich order because it's been almost an hour and I have not been served my lunch yet. Our assigned waitress KATE did even bother to find out if our orders have been served or not. So I asked to speak with their manager of the day, and told complained. They tried to appease my by saying that they're preparing my sandwich and will just give it to me in a take out bag. Forget it! The damage has been done! How can they appease my hunger with a takeout bag? And how do I know that their staff did not spit on the sandwich? So I told the manager to just eat it herself. Good riddance TGI Friday's Festival Mall. This is the 3rd time you've failed my family again.
Your service really sucks, TGI Fridays Festival Mall! And you cannot appease a dissatisfied REGULAR customer by giving him/her a doggie bag. A simple "sorry, we will do better next time" is all we wanted, but no, your manager was reasoning out excuses. So I told her to just stop talking and remember that I was not...
