This place is great for those looking for a heavy breakfast before or after admiring the view of Manila Bay.
We arrived at this place during the early morning of a weekday — the street in front of it was packed of bikers doing their daily grind, living to the name of the restaurant.
Ordered the following items from their menu: tuna salpicao, tofu and mushroom sisig, hot chocolate, and fruit bowl with yoghurt.
Tuna Salpicao — great taste, flavor is there and tuna is delicious. Serving is great as well.
Tofu and Mushroom Sisig — great flavor, love the extra onions, serving is great!
Hot Chocolate — nothing special but is a great alternative for coffee based drinks.
Fruit Bowl with Yoghurt — expected more from what I got but good fruit quality. Could have used more yoghurt.
The establishment is nice and the decors really adhere to the theme of the place. Love their dedication to bikers as they provide bathrooms for them and some special promos. Best to eat inside since there is a distinct smell outside that may disrupt your dining experience.
Staffs are friendly but could use some improvement with regards to their attentiveness. They are quick on their feet however.
Overall, a great dining experience and would definitely...
Read moreWhen you're done with your 30-40km bike ride and you end up around the seaside area, you may want to check out Biker's Cafe - esp if you are looking for a decent meal. The place has indoor and al fresco dining (unfortunately, we had to take al fresco dining since AC was not working). We went on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty, probably because of the rain. But im guessing that the place is packed during Sundays. There's a number of bike stands where you can park your bike, just make sure to bring your bike locks for your bike's safety. The food is pretty decent - not too expensive, but not too puchu puchu. I'd recommend the French Toast, im pretty sure the syrup had either brandy or rum, allowing for an interesting taste. The place is also right next to Specialized store, so you can actually relax here while waiting for your bike getting some work done from the bike...
Read moreA tip about Bikers cafe - get free brewed coffee (1 cup) before 11am with a lot of their meals (not just the breakfast meals). And if the coffee served IS NOT PIPING HOT, send it right back and they'll give you back hot coffee. Due to the pandemic, they now do only Cash/GCash payments. 5% service charge included. We got the French toast and tuna salpicao - all under P200 meals. Well-plated and tasty - you can sit al fresco although it's not as clean as the air-conditioned area, where the wait staff congregate. This resto might be the only open Bayside one, for breakfast - perfect for those walking their dogs, or strolling along this sea-view stretch in the morning. And, yes, ...
