We are looking for a place to eat and knowing Mall of Asia, there are various restaurants to choose from. We decided to go to this restaurant as I get intrigued by the "brick oven pizza" written outside. Walls were nicely decorated and the designs and displays suits the relaxed and casual ambience of the place. The menu choices are great! It is easy to choose which one to order as the menu is simple unlike other menus that looks like a photo album. Food choices are just as what you can expect from an Italian bistro. So we ordered a Ceasar Salad which is my kind of Ceasar Salad! Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza - the perfect blend of the saltiness of the prociutto, the slight bitterness of the arugula and the sweetness and sourness of the balsamic dressing, it tastes heavenly! Shrimp and Scallion Pizza- divine! Seafood Spaghetti in Marinara Sauce- although it says that there are clams in the menu, there weren't but I guess mussels were used as a replacement- no big deal. So yeah, mussels, slices of squids and pieces of shrimps, capers, olives, in pomodoro sauce topped with bacon bits- sapouros! Chicken Pesto Spaghetti- when we ordered this, my daughter asked the staff if this is the usual pesto sauce like ground basil and nuts with olive oil and sautaeed with all the ingridients, so the waitress said yes. When this pasta arrived, we were surprised that it is actually kind of a creamy pesto. Good thing it tastes scrumptious! For dessert, we just shared the Choco Lava as we just wanted to taste it. All I can comment is, it is delicious. We all had Red Iced Tea for our drinks. Service was great! All our orders came to our table fast- just as it says in the name of the restaurant- bistro. Overall experience, I will...
Read moreThis was my fourth visit, and there will not be a fifth. The hall was relatively quiet, and a single server was exclusively taking orders.
We ordered three dishes, including a Margherita pizza. Since I enjoy the flavor of Margherita, I wanted my daughter to try it.
After a while, the server brought out a Quattro Formaggi pizza instead. When I pointed out that it wasn’t what I ordered, she insisted that she had repeated the order back to me and claimed I had indeed ordered that pizza (which I didn’t even know was on the menu), without offering an apology.
I did not ask for a refund; I only wanted to clarify the situation, thinking perhaps the pizza had been intended for someone else. Yet she kept insisting that I had ordered it. Why such reluctance to admit a mistake and apologize?
No matter how good the food might be, such an experience felt insulting and unacceptable during a precious family outing. All I can do is leave today’s experience as a review, but I sincerely hope that if the manager of this restaurant reads this, they will take steps to improve the...
Read moreThe Pizza here is 🤌🤌🤌 we ordered their best seller; Italian Sausage and Bacon which was definitely a delight! The crust is light and doesn't have that "too chewy" texture from common pizza places like Pizza Hut etc., the flavors of the toppings also complemented well with the sauce giving the authentic Italian feel. By the way, the texture of the crust and the taste are still great even after 4 hours (we took home some slices as we felt full already)
Their Spaghetti ala Carbonara and Cheese Fritters were also delicious, but special props to the Cheese Fritters sauce 💯
This is the first Italian restaurant that really gave me that Italian vibes but did not hurt my wallet HAHAHA
A 10/10 definitely, super...
