It's November 21, 2020 and still wearing a facemask everywhere aside inside the restaurant of course. I have my afternoon walk and very thirsty like feels to drink a cold beer and found this restaurant name SEAFOOD ISLAND and at the same time ordering lechon Kawali! However, I was looking for burritos or something like tacos and pizza sad to say they don't have it and so ordered lechon Kawali Uh! By the way, the menu should put the ADDS ON as I ordered lechon Kawali worth of 199 Pesos and I thought it is the price as I can see it in the menu... and after I received my receipt the real price is 350 Pesos I think or more or less... so yes I thought it is only 199 Pesos.. there is no one explaining me about the difference... and I still pay for it. However, the place is perfect for barkadas and at the same time perfect for sunset view... Fantastic!! It would be better if if is okay to drink beer outside however the management is following the protocol. Anyhow you can take your food and enjoy the scenery outside without the beer. The staff here is super accommodating .... See...
Read moreI had late lunch with my family and ordered mixed of meat nd seafood.. lucky my sister inlaw, niece nd nephew is not a fan of seafood. I had a combination kinilaw (seaweed ,fish and oyster) with my brother nd brother in-law but we wer wondering how come they served it not together with the rest of the platter but served last. At night my brother and brother in-law start to have diarrhoea. But my case was worst, apart from having diarrhoea nd vomiting i get fever that night. I am sure its food poisoning and it was the kinilaw we had. Realising that it was served last, they must have defrosted it or it was not cleaned thoroughly. I was about to be sent to hospital because I know im dehydrated but I pushed myself to be okay as i have a flight to catch in 48hrs. This post is not to blame or give a low score with the restaurant but to give awareness nd wake-up call to the management to make sure the food was up to the standard and not...
Read moreIt's our first time at the Seafood Island (AND DEFINITELY THE LAST!!!) 😡 Why?The order came late, and... They serve us a clum soup with a page of a magazine or newspaper, we don't know (you can still read the clear words : "VILLA" "WHAT" "Hat", "TRA") Disgusting! We already started eating and enjoy the food when I noticed a small page of paper with the clum soup. We immediately stop eating and called the waiter, then their supervisor came, then their manager, we told them that are they really serving the clum soup with newspaper in it? They are offering to change it, we refuse and said we no longer want to eat...NAWALAN NA KAMI NG GANA! Before we left, we asked for an incident report and customer comments form.
