The first and probably be the last time I’ll be dining here at FIERY SIDE!
ATMOSPHERE - 3/5 I’ll start here by saying that it’s pretty nice here, but the loud background music ruins it. We can barely hear each other while talking.
SERVICE - 2/5 Bad!!! We ordered for our food because we’re just two. And then a big family beside us came after and then ordered after us. To our surprise, they were served first with all their orders while we’re still waiting. I followed-up several times but to no avail, they still didn’t serve us our food.
It was almost 35 minutes when they let us know that they prepared a wrong food for us! 🙄 They tried to negotiate that we get the one with seafood but we said no and we stick with our orders. So we waited for almost 15-20 minutes before they served us our food. The table beside us already left and we just started eating. I informed the manager about what happened and they offered us a complimentary iced tea due to the long waiting time.
FOOD - 3/5 We got the Galleon of Bones that’s good for 2-3 persons consisting of chicken wings, ribs, meaty pork hammers with southwest chips, choice of fiery rice, coleslaw and bbq sauce.
The food was good naman but it seems that the food was prepared in a rush. On one of the photo, the chicken wings still has blood in it.
The ribs were good and the pork hammers were okay. At first they served us plain rice but i asked since they asked us if we preferred chorizo rice or chicken rice.
So they brought it back again to the kitchen and changed it but there’s no sauce or even coleslaw, so we asked for it again.
It seems that they’re all occupied and they either forget this or that. We would understand if they’re on soft launch but we asked them beforehand that they’re already here 5-6 years...
Read moreA new Eat in MOA
When I was wandering around in Mall of Asia, hungry and starving searching for something to eat, I suddenly discovered they were renovating a part of the North wing where Starbucks and TGI Fridays used to be located. Instead they have opened a new area which they call the New Eats, where you can find new exciting restaurants. The one which stood out most was the Fiery Style Restaurant.
Mexican fusion dining
It's a Mexican fusion dining restaurant that serves fiery Mexican cuisine and quick bites. Ideal for Mexican food lovers and others too of course. They offer a wide selection of Mexican dishes comprised of burritos, steaks, fajitas, and everything in between. Among all of their special dishes, the visitors are raving about their BBQ Pulled Pork Quesadilla, Southwest Platter and their Bottomless Cocktails Promo.
Bursting Burritos
Since I wanted something fiery I ordered the Bursting Burritos with grilled jalapeños and lime chicken. It was a freshly rolled floured tortilla loaded with rice, beans, peppers and sweetcorn in a Louisiana-style sauce, mixed leaves, cheese and sour cream. It may not look that much and maybe they could have added more chicken inside the burritos. Nevertheless the taste was good and the portion was enough for me so my conclusion was, that it was a good eat! By the way, nice with those colored nachos, I never seen that before.
Thumbs up!
I will definitely come back. There are many things on their menu I would like to try. The staff was very nice and service minded and the ambience also nice. A plus is that vegetarians also can find something to eat here all though the variety is limited though. Anyway keep the good work rolling and thumbs up for the...
Read more1/10 wouldn’t recommend.
I would not recommend this place, as our experience was quite disappointing. Despite arriving on time with a reservation, we were not attended to by anyone. We had to take the initiative to call the staff ourselves, and mind you that there were no other customers dining in at the time. Once we entered, the staff simply pointed out a table without providing clear instructions on where to sit, leading us to ask for clarification multiple times. The experience was uncomfortable and unpleasant.
The waitress made an effort to upsell, but her approach made us uncomfortable. Despite already stating our order, she persistently tried to push additional products on us.
The food arrived on a sizzling plate, but unfortunately, it was served COLD!!
The staff members were too preoccupied with their own chikahan to properly attend to the customers.
Oh my, I could clearly hear the staff BABY TALKING!! It was quite irritating to the ears. They were talking loudly and there was no background music to drown out their chatter.
Despite informing them multiple times about our reservation through eatigo, the discount was not applied to our bill. I had to remind them once again that we were dining with eatigo.
Honestly, The their staffs were inexperienced and they lacked professionalism.
Food was okay but cold. Will never go back again and wouldn’t recommend because of...
