Service crew is very lacking. Everyone seems to be in such a hurry. We arrived before 11 then we ordered our food. 10-15 minutes later a huge group of foreigners came. They got their food first which were some soup which we understood since it was easier to prepare. But when they got their main meals, we asked a waiter where was ours. No one came back and so we asked another waiter why the later group got their food first. He did not really give us an answer and just went away. When he came back he had all of our food, so did they just forget to serve it? No one knows. Food: then chicken was too try and small, the lumpia which I have always loved at Max's did not taste good anymore. We also had a hard time with asking for the bill. Then a waitress gave it to us without even looking at us (rude)... I gave the bill which had my credit card inside to another waiter and waited again for it to be given back... but it never came. Our tito brought us there in Max's with very good impressions. But when we received the foods, Sinigang served with the double layered bowl which supposed to have charcoal or the flame on the base part to keep the soup warm but second layer was just to showcase. Sizzling sisig came warm as we can even touch the sizzling plate with the bare hands. Garlic rice cannot feel the taste or flavor of garlic. And fried chicken is no taste without sauce. Crispy pata is no taste without sauce. May be I was expecting too high or else my husband cooked better than...
