Shakey's — Restaurant in Pasay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. I visited shakeys today (April 18,2025 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow — i waited over more than 30 minutes just to get our orders taken, and one staff was only one serving and despite a lot of staff in the counter. The food was okay, but nothing makes up for the way we were treated. After giving the menu it’s given that after a while the customer will order. But I need to stand and come to staff to inform my order.i have flight too. We are managing our time.

Staff were not rude, but they were indifferent — no eye contact, no smile, and no follow-up. I felt like an inconvenience rather than guests. The food wasn’t bad, but the poor service really overshadowed everything.

Constructive feedback: Train your staff to be more welcoming and attentive. A little hospitality goes a long way.

This was honestly a terrible dining experience. When I arrived, there were lots of dirty tables. I sat at one that hadn’t been cleaned. Eventually, a staff member came but only cleaned half the table—leaving dirty right in front of me. Then another staff member came to take my order, still leaving the mess. I had to ask twice before anyone came back to finish cleaning properly.

The service overall was just bad. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food, and even drinks took a long time to arrive. When we asked for the bill, it took forever—and then we had to wait again for the change. It felt like everything involved waiting and chasing staff down.

The staff seemed uninterested, almost like they didn’t want to work there. No eye contact, no smiles, no sense of care. And to top it all off, the food was bland and poorly made.
