First time trying Teppanya (6 pax) for some Oath taking Celebration 🎉 Still on a soft opening that's why the staff who assisted us is quite on a process of learning how to mage manage & accommodate their customers hopefully they will be better next time. Cost per person on a buffet P1500 kinda pricey though for the effort od ur personal chef is kinda hard work. Each shared tables w other customers up to 12 pax so imagine the time that ur food will be cook good thing u can order other food while waiting. Ramen which is just ok Sushi Ebi tempura - big shrimp good Crab sticks / sashimi good Beef roll - very good quite upsetting coz for how many times we follow up they didn't served it asap & it's the best taste pa naman 😔 Tiger prawn, salmon, lobster tail scallop good Well done steak is good medium rare is not for me 😅 Fried rice good too They served quality food too Banana ice cream flambĂ© great too The highlight is the flambĂ© đŸ’„ quite entertaining Bottomless Drinks like Red tea - great Pepsi 7up etc. No leftover policy Casg or via card or other mode of payment Wash area & comfort room very clean & nice please keep maintaining it. Staffs that took our orders & assisted us accommodating & also helpful specially answering our questions. Thank you If you also have spare money you can also give tip to the staff It's nice to look around the seaside area. Sadly, my niece misplaced her bag quite frustrating. We've tried to contact their fb good thing they respond hoping somehow they will review their cctv just to further help us 🙏 You may try Teppanya for someone like me it's for a special occasion 😉

Teppanya at Mall of Asia offers an exceptional dining experience that exceeds expectations in every aspect. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm ambiance and attentive service that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The chef's jovial and entertaining demeanor adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience, making it not just a meal, but a memorable event. Now, onto the star of the show – the food. The USDA Cargill ribeye, Brazilian ribeye, and Kurobota ribeye are undoubtedly the highlights of the menu, cooked to perfection just the way you like it. Whether you prefer your steak medium-well or any other preference, the chef skillfully delivers each dish to meet your expectations. In addition to the mouthwatering ribeye selections, the smoked Philadelphia roll and soft shell crab tower roll showcase the restaurant's commitment to creativity and quality. Each bite is a burst of flavor, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. And let's not forget the Angus beef curry, a comforting and flavorful dish that satisfies the palate with every spoonful. While the menu already boasts an impressive array of dishes, it would be even more delightful if lobster were consistently available, adding another luxurious option to the already stellar lineup. Overall, Teppanya at Mall of Asia is a culinary gem that offers not only exceptional food but also outstanding service and entertainment. It's the perfect destination for anyone looking to indulge in top-notch Japanese cuisine with a touch of flair.

✹ Teppanya at Mall of Asia: A Feast for the Senses From the moment you step into Teppanya, you’re swept into a world where dining becomes performance. The ambiance is sleek and spacious, with a Japanese-chic aesthetic that sets the stage for something special. Whether you’re seated at a private table or gathered around the teppanyaki grill, the energy is electric. đŸ”„ Chef as Showman The chefs here don’t just cook—they captivate. With fiery flambĂ© displays, precision knife work, and playful interactions, each dish is prepared with theatrical flair. It’s not just dinner; it’s a front-row seat to culinary artistry. Chef Joel, in particular, brings a magnetic presence to the grill, turning even simple fried rice into a spectacle. 🍣 Food That Delivers The menu is a celebration of Japanese indulgence. From melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to perfectly seared angus ribeye and the unforgettable banana flambĂ© with ‘hot’ ice cream, every bite is crafted with care. The unlimited sets offer generous variety, and the bottomless drinks keep the mood flowing. 🌟 Why It Stands Out ‱ Immersive live cooking entertainment ‱ High-quality ingredients and generous portions ‱ Attentive staff and lively group dining atmosphere ‱ Ideal for special occasions or adventurous nights out Whether you’re celebrating or simply craving a meal that dazzles, Teppanya delivers an experience that’s equal parts delicious and unforgettable A B.

Teppanya MOA ruined our celebration. Read this before booking.

We arrived on time for our June 14 4 PM reservation and were told to sit outside in the heat for 30 minutes. It was humid. Our guests were mostly seniors. And yet, the receptionist—unkempt, yes, unkempt, sarcastically said, “Pasensya na po, mainit talaga sa MOA,” instead of doing her job and figuring out how to make guests comfortable. Vikings and other restos in the same area had fans. Teppanya? Nothing. Just a long line of sweaty, disappointed guests baking outside.

When we were finally seated, they said it took long because they were “cleaning” the table. Really? It was sticky, greasy, and gross. They crammed us all in one area of the table, even though we reserved for the unlimited option, just to squeeze in those who didn’t order unlimited. So how exactly is the chef supposed to know who gets what? And how do you expect a fair time split for the 2-hour limit when you jam different orders together?

Then came the manager, and surprise—he was also unkempt, visibly unhygienic, and just as sarcastic. My cousin, who was soft-spoken but assertive, was met with this man’s condescending tone and remarks like we were some barkada at a cheap bar. He said, “Kumalma kayo ma’am, masyado kayong mainit,” as if we were the problem for expecting basic decency and competence.

They were even pushing us to avail the ₱25,000 solo room, like that’s a solution to their own lack of preparedness. We were told they were short-staffed and that many tables were under repair. So because you can’t manage your own operations, we’re the ones who have to suffer?

When I spoke up, I told him clearly that they’re in the service industry—they should know how to listen to feedback without getting defensive. And yet, again with the sarcasm: “Masyado kang mainit ma’am.” That’s when I told him off. He didn’t even have the guts to look me in the eye. Clearly, zero training, zero professionalism. The receptionist and manager looked and acted nothing like the roles they claimed to hold. Their behavior reflected the restaurant perfectly—warm (and not in a good way), sticky floors and tables, sweaty guests, and no one in charge.

We walked out. We had our dinner at East Ocean Palace instead, where they actually knew how to treat customers with respect.

DO NOT book Teppanya MOA if you value your celebrations, your comfort, or your dignity. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Unless you want your special day completely ruined by incompetence and bad hygiene, avoid this place at all costs.

If the manager and receptionist are unruly, unkempt, and unapologetically unprofessional outside business hours please remind them to leave that outside the establishment once their...

In my dining experience this is the first time that i am ever gonna write a review and I will be as honest as i can because this is how disappointed i am with the experience. Super bad experience upon dining with teppanya moa, service was bad and as customers we were suppose to go out of a restaurant satisfied at least, but no this did not happened. We were already asking recommendations upon ordering but we were not given any option. Waiting time was too long. We were 4 groups in a table and only 2 groups were entertained properly and were served on time. Chef’s ingredient tray seemed disorganized, our orders were disorganized. One of our order will not be served pa if we hadn’t asked about it and when the chef started cooking he only asked and entertained the other 2 groups. Putting an understanding on it kasi madami silang order, still he also should’ve checked kung may meat kami na order or seafood but no he did not and he continued on cooking and serving the other two groups while us and the other guest was left to wait for too long making us lose our appetite. Me and my partner felt like we paid for nothing. Di din namen nasulit yung food kasi nawalan na kami gana sa tagal. We did not order much na nga na lulutuin para sana di na kami mag wait and yet, the other groups were already getting full and we were just served with the vegies. Also when the rice was served it has gone cold na sa tagal nung meat and squid namen na at the end seemed like natabunan na or as our understanding di pala ata nalagay sa tray na lulutuin. We were so disappointed with the service na bale-wala na yung quality and taste ng food. No one also bothered asking us from the crew or even the chef about our orders. We also initiated na in mentioning our orders but still took time and we were still not accommodated at the end and had to wait pa rin. To add on all this one of our order which is a maki roll was mixed up with a different dish pa. We hope you better your service with your customers and give them what they paid for all the time specially you have 10%...

I don’t normally post reviews, but as a mother, a senior, and someone who values respect and proper service, I have never felt more insulted than I did at Teppanya MOA.

We arrived before our 4 PM reservation, only to be told to wait outside in the heat for almost 30 minutes. Most of us were senior citizens. There were no fans, no proper waiting area, no urgency from the staff. When we politely asked about updates, the receptionist—who looked unkempt and uninterested—sarcastically told us “Pasensya na po, mainit talaga sa MOA.” Other restaurants nearby had fans. Teppanya had excuses and bad attitude.

When we were finally seated, the table was sticky and greasy. They crammed us into one side, even though we reserved for unlimited, just so they could squeeze in guests who didn’t order the same. How are we supposed to enjoy a proper teppanyaki experience like that? Where’s the system? Where’s the respect for guests who came early and paid for premium service?

What’s worse is how the manager handled the situation. My niece—who was calm and assertive—raised a concern, and instead of listening professionally, he spoke to her like a tambay. He said, “Kumalma kayo ma’am, masyado kayong mainit.” This is your manager? Talking down to guests? Sarcastic, poorly groomed, unprofessional, and obviously not trained to handle any form of feedback.

My daughter stepped in and told him off—and rightfully so. This wasn’t about food anymore. It became clear that Teppanya MOA has no regard for respect, hygiene, or basic customer service.

We walked out and had dinner elsewhere, where we were treated with the dignity we deserved.

Teppanya MOA is a disgrace to the brand. If management continues to let that kind of behavior slide, then this place will keep disappointing families and ruining special occasions. Don’t waste your time, money, or...
