AMBIENCE It was very crowded during lunch time, but surprisingly, we were in the queue for about three minutes only. As always, we just needed to write down how many orders of each dish we wanted. FOOD & BEVERAGE Baked Bun with BBQ Pork had a crunchy coating and the meaty filling was fairly hot. Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf was addicting and easy to break apart with chopsticks. We just ate off the leaf so it wouldn't stick all over the plate. Prawn Dumpling and Steamed Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp were very hot inside and the shrimps were big! Iced Tea was very cold and sweet. SERVICE Staffers were extremely quick to get us drinking water. I can say the same for our orders and they cleaned our table as soon as most of the containers were empty already. Orders were efficiently crossed off the sheet used to track pending orders.

Great Food, Cozy Ambiance – Just a Few Bumps in Service. Tim Ho Wan at MOA remains one of my favorite spots for authentic and affordable dim sum. Their baked BBQ pork buns are as amazing as always—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. I also enjoyed their steamed dumplings and the overall calming ambiance, perfect for relaxing after a walk around the mall. However, there were a few service hiccups during my visit. I ordered just one soup, but they served two, possibly due to a miscommunication. Also, my vermicelli dish arrived much later than the rest of the food, which was a bit inconvenient. Still, the staff were polite and the food was worth the wait. With just a bit more attention to detail, this place would be perfect. I’ll definitely come back—Tim Ho Wan still delivers a memorable dining experience.

Food is okay. Overrated I must say. The staff and the service in their Robinson's Manila Branch is slow. I find them impolite as well. I ate there twice. The first instance was during my sister in law's bday. We were so disappointed because our orders came in very late, waiting time is longer than the time we spent to enjoy our food. Did i also mention that the first time they serve the food, they gave us the incorrect meals. Very frustrating. No apologies from the manager or the person who took the order and even blamed us because we did not clarify? 😑 My second time was when I was craving for pork buns, I placed my order for take out, it was early afternoon. no customers, i politely asked for a glass of water, the waiter ask me to wait, no water after 5 mins. I asked again and was advise to wait again. My order came and I did not receive any glass of water. I think their water is too expensive that they won't give...

The food was good, really good. It's my first time actually eating here. The Service though, was not up to par. I didn't like how they acted in front of us. This one waiter threw the chair that a man previously sat on, and the bang was loud, very rude and disrespectful. Another thing I've noticed is that they seem uninterested, parang napilitan lang sila. Wala man lang smile and all. I know that their job is hard din, pero when it comes to treating your customers, it should be done with respect and kindness na din. Overall, it was the service that ruined the whole experience. After everything that happened in the middle of me eating, nawalan ako ng gana, that's why I sped up eating and just wanted to leave.

Knowing that this place holds a reputation kasi meron silang michelin star, they should have better service to match the food that they serve din. I hope that they will do...
