[2023 December] Contrary to their name, not everything in "Caution: Hot! Spicy Noodle House" is hot and spicy. There are non-spicy and non-noodle items (i.e. dumplings) on the menu, and even with the noodles you can choose to go the non-spicy route. But then, what's the point? Ordering is easy: first, choose your mains (beef, pork, seafood or vegetable), then your broth (szechuan, laksa, hot & sour, or the non-spicy classic). For the spicy soups, you can choose the burn level, from 1st degree (again, what's the point?) to 3rd degree burns, then the max Ultimate Burn (what were you thinking??!). Like it says prominently on the wall in big, bold, red letters: Choose your burn wisely. I chickened out and choose the 2nd degree burn and honestly, it was nothing. I feel I could (and should) have gone for the ultimate burn. I ordered the Spicy Szechuan beef noodles. Aside from the mushrooms and spicy broth, I loved the thin Taiwanese egg noodles. You can fully customize your noodles by choosing your main ingredient, broth, and level of spiciness (called "Burn"). For spicy food fans, the Seafood + Laksa + 2nd Degree Burn combo at ₱305 is a fiery delight. The broth is rich and spicy, and you can see generous portions of seafood mixed in.
Perfect Pairings for the Heat To cool down, we ordered unlimited iced tea (₱100) and soya milk (₱120). Both are refreshing and pair perfectly with the spicy noodles.
Generous Servings The noodles come in large portions, enough for two people to share. My friends tried the Beef + Non-Spicy Classic Broth (₱270), which was also loaded with toppings and equally satisfying. The Vegetable Noodles at just ₱240 offer the same big serving, making it only ₱120 per person—great value for money!
Delicious Sides Don’t miss their Kuchay Pork Dumplings—20 pieces for only ₱360. Dip them in their sauces, and each bite bursts...
