Elevated Flavors, City Views.
We recently dined at The Bistro Rooftop at Le Blanc Kapitolyo, and it was a delightful surprise tucked into the buzz of the city. Compared to their Antipolo location, this one offered a noticeably more pleasant experience—likely because we arrived just before peak dining hours, giving us ample breathing room to enjoy both the ambiance, the service, and the food.
The Bistro Rooftop is thoughtfully designed, with both al fresco and air-conditioned dining areas that open up to views of the Metro—particularly the East side. Whether you prefer to soak in the breeze or settle into a cooler corner, there's a spot that matches your vibe. Best time to come is during sunset.
Service was quick and attentive, which made browsing the vast menu a little easier (in Antipolo, we went during breakfast time. It was chaotic!)
Food was a bit on the pricey side, yes, and unfortunately, any roast beef item was out of stock when we visited. But the dishes we did get to try made up for it: Quezo Fundido con Chorizo – gooey, savory comfort on a plate Balsamic Pork Belly Adobo – rich, tangy, and beautifully plated Truffled Spaghetti – fragrant and indulgent Chicken Sandwich – huge, satisfying, definitely sharable! Caramel Macchiato – bold and smooth Sapin-sapin – classic Filipino dessert And of course, their signature dish, the Triple Chocolate Champorado (with crispy danggit) – indulgent and interactive. Pouring hot milk over the dome of chocolate and watching it melt into the rich cocoa rice is verrryyy satisfying. It's a dessert and a mini ceremony all in one.
A great spot for a leisurely meal with city views and a menu you’ll want to come back for (hopefully with the roast...
Read moreMy friends and I went here to try this new restaurant in our neighbourhood. I guess our expectations were hyped by the restaurant’s Instagram photos of food and rooftop scenes that reality disappointed us in so many levels. The magical, romantic rooftop ambience only happens if the weather cooperates. When it is raining (which happened during our visit), tables and chairs are transferred to the second level and customers will be required to go up a flight of stairs (not PWD or pregnant woman friendly). They also botched up our orders such that they served regular churros instead of cup churros with ice cream. We gave them an opportunity to correct it and waited for the churros until we were about to leave, but in the end the staff made excuses and offered to refund the price of the churros. Now, of course, we did not get the exact refund, because we paid the service charge based on the price with the churros. The service was too slow — from taking our orders to serving the food and drinks, to giving our bill, change, and informing us that they had to cancel our churros order. I know these may be growing pains for their business, so we will be back in a couple of months to check this place again for any...
Read moreI avoid carbs at all costs. But the friend suggested we go here and sent me the menu - let's just say I just went along with the consideration that it was a rooftop venue.
Guess what, I actually loved everything we ate. Pizza was thin with just about the right amount of cheese. That spicy pasta - it was reaaaalllly good. Even the chicken wings were spicier, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I ended up not using Tabaco on the pizza. The pasta and chicken provided enough kick for the pizza.
It's a little better than Yellowcab. And I love yellowcab. Their crust was very thin and crunchy it was like earing melted cheese on crackers. Trust the crust- it will hold everything.
I think I enjoyed their food more than I wanted. I don't even feel the usual pangs of guilt 😂
It was raining when we went there but there's an enclosed area. The Ortigas lights were nice from the rooftop - check the weather when you go there
Btw: The friend warned us not to order the truffle pasta, which she found weird...
