It’s not a surprise that Cafe Breton has much superior crepes than Crepeman Cafe. The crepes from the latter have that “wow” factor in them. The crepes here, though, are just good. Not at all bad, but not great either. Just enough to satisfy your cravings and give you a good fill. My daughter ordered the Choco Mango crepe, which they prepared in front of us, and I saw the staff put a surprisingly generous amount of mango. Their savory crepe Philly Cheesecake was good too. The beef was soft, the cheese delicious. It felt a little strange eating it though because you feel like you’re eating a shawarma but you’re not. Their Longanisa and Egg breakfast rice meal was good too. Nothing spectacular, just hearty. But then again, that’s what a good ol’ Filipino comfort food is supposed to be, right? Just straightforward hearty. Their iced Mocha coffee was ok too, but not necessarily better than Starbucks’, or even Pickup Coffee’s. It’s just good enough to satisfy your iced coffee cravings. Overall, this place is not a standout, but I’m still giving it 5 stars because: their prices are reasonable; their crepe fillings were generous; their staff were nice, and their service was prompt; and their place was clean. And the fact that they’re situated in Pioneer Center makes parking reasonably convenient.

We went here around mid-afternoon. My companion wanted a savory crepe while I went for something heavier, so I ordered their spaghetti. It was filling, but honestly mediocre at best. Unfortunately, beef wasn’t available at the time, so for the savory crepes, we settled on the Porky’s Bacon, which turned out to be mostly veggies and corn with very little bacon. The pepperoni pizza crepe was okay, nothing too special. On the brighter side, the Choco Mallow crepe was delicious. It even brought back memories of my college days at their Taft Avenue branch.

We eat here for breakfast almost every weekend. The breakfast options are delightful and reasonably priced (PhP 150) especially the tapa and longganisa. Their latte is exceptional, lasang kape talaga hehe. The crepes strike a perfect balance of sweetness, making them less nakakaumay (try the crispy crepes, the texture is interesting). The ambiance is good, they play relaxing music like boyce avenue's acoustic covers. The staffs are polite, excellent customer service.
