Timeline: Entere 11:45am Ordered 11:49 ~50 am Took 20 minutes(12:10) after ordering for complimentary Olive bread and butter to be served, butter was too little for the amount of bread.
Took another 10 minutes(12:20) before the first appetizer arrived, shrimp cocktail.
Took another 10 minutes(12: 30) for the other appetizer, Oysters Rockefeller 3pc.
Took another 15 minutes(12:45) for the main dish to arrive, 180 grams American Ribeye steak.
Food rating: The appetizers were great(4.5 stars) The shrimp cocktail was good(4 stars). The oyster Rockefeller was awesome(5 stars).
The main course I chose was American Ribeye Steak 180g for php1450, which is a bit disappointing for the price. The size is meh, but It's cooked perfectly, it is VERY underseasoned. It needs additional salt and pepper from table shakers, which was only provided after asking staff. The demi-glace could be better, the side veg were okay too other than the potato which was awesome.
Overall: I spent around 2800+. It's a little bit pricy for the disappointing main, certainly willing to try another time with...
Read moreRandom Wednesdate spent at Ayala 30th, we decided to try out French restaurant, Lartizan, located on the ground floor of the mall.
The decoration is very French bistro, only daintier. The staff were nice and friendly.
Selection of bread and pastries is amazing, everything looks really good but did not get to try it, maybe next time.
We shared onion soup and fillet mignon which were split into two bowls and plates - they were kind enough to do that. The bread with butter was amazing, crisp baguette slices and demi-salted butter.
Had the most amazing onion soup, perfect sweetness and depth, it was more than enough even after being split into two, definitely value for money.
The medium rare Fillet Mignon with mushroom sauce, however, fell rather flat, was expecting richer mushroom flavour and the beef was just okay, not the best.
Would definitely go back to this place to try out other dishes as they hv...

I really liked the mushroom ravioli and the banana nutella crepe. The ravioli filling and sauce was flavorful. The steak was tender, although I expected a different flavor from the peppercorn sauce. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. The bread they offered for free at the start was also good with their salted butter. The liver pate was also good to have with the bread.
The sea bass wasn't delicious. It didn't taste rich or flavorful, it just tasted like any kind of pan fried fish. It wasn't the sea bass one would expect normally from a higher-end restaurant. The salad with the crab seemed like it had too much of something (mayo and flavor maybe). Also the foie gras on the appetizer with the liver pate was a bit lacking in flavor, small and dry
Service was really good though, super friendly...
