Was fond of this place until I had a very bad experience with the staff. I was served undercooked food which I kindly asked to be sent back to the kitchen. I’m disappointed they didnt bother to replace it instead just put it back in the pan to cook it more. But i didnt make a fuss of it. Before biting into the sausage the second time, i cut it up to check if its cooked properly only to find out its still cold in the middle part, STILL. It was really frustrating and I asked it to be sent back and just have it replaced. The food already looks inedible cut up like that but they just planned on throwing it back into the pan apparently. The cashier explained “napunch na po” which is why they cant replace it anymore. I reasoned that the sausage is probably still frozen thats why its not cooking properly to which one of the staff very loudly and defensively explained that the sausage is NOT frozen. I was served food cold TWICE and you will make it seem like I’m the one whos being unreasonable. I think anyone would feel really bad about being served refrigerator-cold food which you paid good money for. Even the staff who was being all defensive.
They ended up serving me a chopped up burnt looking sausage by the end of it which i didnt bother to touch. Not a single sorry was offered by any of the staff. I understand where theyre coming from, which is why i didnt bother to complain to anyone. it was just a really...

This location has become a favorite for its simple, straightforward, and reasonably priced Filipino fare, particularly the always satisfying SILOGs—rice meals served with a choice of protein and a fried egg that truly embody the heart of Filipino comfort food.
While we believe Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan offers a wider variety of dishes and more delicious food, Rodic’s can hold its own, and although smaller, is cleaner and has a cozier atmosphere. Each visit feels like a comforting embrace, with familiar flavors that remind us of home-cooked meals.
Recently, we were thrilled to discover that a new branch of Rodic’s has opened behind Pioneer Centre in Pasig, just a quick 5-minute drive from our condo. This convenient location makes it even easier for us to indulge in our cravings for their classic SILOGs without having to trek all the way to Makati.
Lastly, this branch is located at a commercial single level building with above five or six other businesses (a pet grooming business and other restaurants). The building has about 10 parking slots, so finding a slot may be a challenge if you visit at a busy time. Keep this in mind...
Read moreRodic’s Pioneer turned out to be a delightful breakfast spot. I ordered the Lucban Longsilog and was genuinely impressed. The longganisa was packed with garlic flavor, just as promised, and it wasn’t overly fatty or oily — a rarity these days.
Their fiesta classics, like the Sinigang na Bangus and Pinakbet, also delivered on the promise of homemade comfort, with hearty portions that felt satisfying. However, I did wish the fried rice had a stronger garlicky punch to better complement the meal.
On a practical note, they have two parking areas available, which is convenient, and outdoor seating is offered for patrons dining with pets — a thoughtful touch. The convenience of cashless transactions via GCash added to the ease of the experience. Rodic’s Pioneer offers a reliable spot for no-frills Filipino comfort food, and I’ll certainly be back for...
