Starbucks - The Vantage at Kapitolyo — Restaurant in Pasig

Summary: Great food and baristas but always in a rush to close

As great as any Starbucks out there in terms of the coffee and food, hence the 5 stars under food.

4 stars for service since the baristas are all nice and courteous. However, one time we requested for the free grounds and the barista on duty seemed clueless about it, even though they have a poster near the entrance saying customers can request grounds to be used as potting soil. It's just a minor thing, so I'm only deducting one star.

2 stars for atmosphere since they will start setting up the outdoor chair and tables for closing while there are still customers at around 9:45PM. The outdoor furnitures are made of metal and make a lot of noise. The person doing the furnitures doesn't seem to mind that current customers are sitting beside piles of metal. I don't mind being told to leave by 10PM, but please give me relaxing environment while I finish my coffee for the...

Staff are not very attentive when taking orders. Twice now it happened that they forget what I ordered so waiting time was doubled as I had to wait as they made another drink, then told them I’m still waiting for a pastry too, so they had to warm it up and I had to wait longer. If you’re in a hurry best to repeat yourself to make sure they don’t forget. Just an observation too, service is better when female staff are in the cashier and serving drinks. Mostly had bad experience when men are serving, they don’t smile too, not that it helps but a lil reaction when they realize they made a mistake doesnt hurt so it isnt...

It was drizzling when I came and there were few customers during that time .....around two to three including me. Mind you guys, whenever I pass that Starbucks branch, it is always crowded ( as expected in all their branches) and finally 🙂 I had the chance to dine in and sipped ....... a newly prepared brewed coffee. Maybe because it was early , it was after 15 minutes from their opening hours when I came. It was a relaxing day and fine my solace away from noise.
